2. consider sacking poor, weak, average depending on your tactics, money situation, the players' talent etc.

as an addendum to 2.....Wait until thusrday to sack anyone.

Nothing is lost by waiting til thursday, nothing gained by sacking on saturday. (Unless you won't get on at the right times).
