I saw you that you got 160k for a defender last night too. Congrats ! What will you do with all this money ? :o
2005-09-11 11:20:58
Nothing. I had a -170k balance yesterday, and paying 6k a week in interest was causing me to run at a slight loss on the weeks I don't have home games.

Quite pleased with how much I got for him considering I paid 1k for him :).
2005-09-11 12:44:13
It is nice when that happens. Hasn't happened to me yet :)

How untalented can a junior be? I have had one guy not change for 11 weeks, which is a shame as he was my most promising guy when he joined at good 28.

am i right in thinking that pops are determined by coach strength as well as talent ? If so, are your other youths popping ? If not, he's probably not getting much better.l
2005-09-15 12:50:36
My youth coach is very good and I am getting pops to other trainees, I'm just wondering how untalented it is possible to be. 11 weeks seems like a long time without improvement..

I've had a junior who popped the first time after 15 weeks with an excellent coach...
2005-09-15 14:16:02
I killed one guy who had never popped after 12 weeks with a formidable youth coach.

Anyone know the difference between a formidable and unearthly youth coach?
2005-09-15 14:17:09
yeap. I've never heard of any unearthy youth coach :P
2005-09-15 14:22:40
