There's no longer any reason for dedicated anything trainers to exist.

I train a GK, also train 9 other players. If anything there will be a glut of GKs around compared to the shortage of before given time.

Oh yeah, the new training thing. Ah well. I'll keep looking for that 5 mins of gratification every year for a nice junior pull then.

I was a dedicated keeper trainer and the new regime buffered all of that up as all of the really strong teams will likely go that way…

i hope you now become a dedicated trainer ;)

I’m playing around the edges at the moment…am sniffing out a strategy for it as I now don’t need to be upgrading my stadium any more…

yeah, good luck. I would've sacked them. I just can't understand this academy thing. How can you have a player that is tragic pace after weeks and weeks of training. I'm going off this game day by day. It started to go away from what's expected. I have 20 places in the academy, they're all filled with useless players. I train them for weeks only to sack them in the end. How many seasons would you need to make Devine worthy of his name. It'll take about 4 seasons to get him into double figures pace. He'll be 22 by then. Then skills start growing much slower.

It's all about patience and luck mate... most get sacked but now and again you get a slight glimmer of hope..

Then BANG . You get a wordlie and need to decide if you want £££ and keep moaning about it... or really enjoying the training aspect of it
