*not passing but pace
*do not try till Saturday
*you can give up defending
*maybe try to put the worst possible keeping (could help, but not necessarily)

woops, pressed wrong, meant pace of course.. Will probably ditch the defensive part.

Won't pull until saturday, don't worry :)

by the way, what's the recipe for pulling a killer assistant coach? ;)

all to level+1 of the coach you want to get I think (maybe 'any' gk to keep his wage cheap)

But I've also been having problems with such recruitments - couldn't find formidable assistant :(

Very good + a few and he's quite talented

Tristan Wickett, age: 18
value: 29 100 £, wage: 495 £
club: St. Albans City FC, country: England
very good form

hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
good pace, tragic defender
weak technique, weak playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, solid striker

one final question - if we were to buy a much stronger main coach - say nearer to magical, would the team get many more random pops?

Because otherwise what is the advantage over say hiring a coach with just the skill that you train?

:/

I'll give you my last 3 weeks pops:

Week 0: stamina; 14/3
Week 1: stamina: 13/2
Week 2: pace: 4/3 (including 2 stamina pops)

Head coach: magical;
Assistants: v.good, excellent, oustanding

What does each number signify?
2005-09-15 19:23:41
number of trained skill pops/ number of 'random' pops

Those 'random' are not random at all - every skill is a number, sth like 5.3563.
If number exceeds the borderline of the next skill, the player 'pops' on that skill.

For example, trained skill could be like 0.2335 of the level, but with head coach & nice assistants you could for example make 0.0535 for each untrained skill

Having worse coaches, general training would be for example sth like 0.0124.

When the borderline is 0.4 and the player has 0.3993 he's just about to pop, no matter what coach you have :] This is what you've called a 'random' pop.

We call em "random" as they are so hard to predict that they appear nearly random,

but yeah, are just a slower level.

*fm considers improving his coaches as he only gets 1 or 2 random pops a week, sometimes 0*

Hopeless 4 sacked
Adequate 27 kept
Good 33 kept
