Passing and playmaking doesn't really set him up for the midfield. I think he's a defender.

I'm in 2 minds whether to keep or sell. I know he won't sell for loads, but he'd replace 1 trainee who's not really going anywhere.

If he's talented he will still be a nice trainee as it's still early season. If another trainee isn't going anywhere then he's clearly not talented or a good long term prospect?

Surely this type of player isn't good enough for a Premier trainee?

Unless you want to train your own prospects of course, as we all know they are hard to come by.

You're right he isn't quite good enough :)

I do have one coming in 4 weeks which I hope the distribution gods will be kind for.

For a 16 year old he's not terrible. 12 sumskill for a defender his age is fairly decent.

I think these 7 are all varying degrees of interesting, though Richard Birch proves once again that no-one has worse luck with youth pulls than Anfield.
