For all of the managers who used Firesokker as an add on to assist them, you'll be aware by now that the changes to Sokker have pretty much made it redundant. Therefore I urge you to remove Firesokker and install this new program. Or if you have not got an add on then I suggest that you choose this time to start using one as it is very handy indeed.

However as of today a new program has come out call OSokker, please find the links below to get the program. I have tried it out and it looks very handy indeed. The actual main thread is in Sokker International.

Some handy things are that you can automatically update players on the International Databases. There are lots of other features too though......

oSokker for FireFox - please report any bugs ;-)
oSokker for Opera

Hope this helps, enjoy. ;)

Yes shameful advertising. Bill Hicks would have that one down as a sucking satan moment for sure!!!

I can only hope it pays well and helps to lift supporter mood...

Not sure what you mean? :/

I get paid nothing for this, its an add-on to replace the now defunct Firesokker wihich was deemed useless by the new changes within Sokker.

I assume you are joking but I answered anyway. ;)

What do you use for the internet Firefox? If so then there was an add-on which could be used while on Sokker. It gave details of average squad age, total salary, a breakdown of enconomy over a two week period.....all sorts of extra info which was quite handy. This new program replaces Firesokker.

The main thread for this where you can ask questions etc is here.... oSokker

Reading your post read like one of those infomericals!

All we needed was new and improved, new and improved...

And yes it was a jest. You do a great job on here and you get my vote.

And I wonder if you remember Bill Hicks?

LOL well I have never been in sales so maybe thats why I left out the cheesy one liners. ;)

Bill Hicks....the only one I know is the Liverpool owner so I guess I am definately not thinking of the right one. ;)

Ok did you delete Firesokker first?

If not go to tools and add-ons.

Then find the link again, download, and finally restart Firefox and hey presto. ;)

I had the same problem.

If yoou right click on the xpi file, then select 'open' from the list.
Next click on the option to 'select a program from the list of installed programs' to open the file.
You may have to use browse to find Firefox.

then you're in business.

I have Vista, but the principle should be similar whatever your OS.

do you know if this will interfere with viewing matches like firesokker did in the past?

Referring to the login pages that FS had and this new add on have*

I have watched a match since installing it.
2009-12-16 10:52:22
That was just a case that if you logged on through firesokkers login, and not the actual SK login, then your match wouldn't load as it classed you as not being the correct user, this happened even if you had plus. (like trying to watch someone else's match if you don't have plus)

Bill Hicks - he was a bit sweary, but with justification.

… We live in a world where John Lennon was murdered, yet Barry Manilow continues to put out albums. God-dammit! If you're gonna kill somebody, have some *ing taste. I'll drive you to Kenny Rogers' house...
