In my defence I’m amazed I have won a 2nd title…..I never thought I’d play again when I quit all those years ago.

My team is some 11 years newer than yours.
By the time my original team was your age, I'd won 11 titles by now :P. At least with the season being sped up you might have a chance of catching my 11x titles now.

I still wish I’d kept forest reserves going. Had such a busy period in my life and has managed to keep the team going in kind of stasis for years then forgot to log in….All that money in the bank at the time I forgot to log in….silly me!!!
Having to start from scratch with players was one thing but the wider impact with sucking up money to build up the team again makes it a really slow burn. I am looking towards new league structure as hopefully giving us lots of active leagues as bot bashing is sooo boring - and why I took a very specific training strategy to try to short cut my way to II..

I have no regrets on giving up Mcoi. But then they were in a much different position to Forest Reserves. Had been sitting at the top so long, relegated but would have instantly repromoted and almost certainly won more trophies by now but needed a fresh challenge. There was a *lot* of money in the bank once the team was sold up.
How much was a lot. I reckon I pretty much stopped for 7 to 8 years, I’m impressed I managed to keep the team going for so long.
I believe you were in the prem on more than one occasion when I won it.
