Asunto: »[nt][u21]National teams

This is a thread where daza & myself can post a few words about the opponent, what type of game, link to TV studio and a reminder about the NT association with starting elevens etc.

Can everyone with a potential NT player update in NTDB or send me a sk-mail? Need to get the DB updated.. We seem to be short of real top-class strikers. Suggestions & scouting are welcome :)

Coming saturday the NT season starts with a World cup qualifier against Japan. Noting but three points is good enough, so the pressure is on me ;)
Sometime during thursday/friday the squad will be posted at the National association along with some words of what to expect.

Like Lorre has already said, we have both been talking and think this should increase the interest in the England NT.

The U21's have a game against the Czech Republic, that are ranked 12th. Like last week I’m going for another win, but wanting to test a couple of things. (more than anything not trying to give anything away as other U21 coaches will be watching our games now) we should be playing a strong team, however negotiations are still ongoing about if we are playing a mixed U21 and U20 game or a simple U21 or U20.

i will keep you all updated as i know more, and I will be posting the team in the Assassination by the latest of Thursday night.

I've seen quite a few comments regarding our NT during the elections - e.g. from NCFC that we've not got behind the National Team over the past few seasons. Whilst NCFC can, at times, talk quite a lot of rhubarb (and plenty of custard) he has a point.

So, to try to address it, I've done the following:

1) Made this NT post "sticky" (for a while at least) - to increase the profile of the national team
2) Created an English Trainers association - to allow people who are training players to share best practices, thoughts etc.
3) I will also provide a list of England NT relevant links for all.

I applied for the English Association... I already have few English players (out of which 1 has potential for NT) and I intend to keep training English players. Some of the English managers already know me a little :)
