Let me introduce myself as my adventure with NT England has come to the next stage. I’ve been supporting Piotr in the NT challenge since the beginning of WC qualifications. After working together a while I can say we managed to combine two slightly different approaches to strategy & tactics to get the most out of current English players’ resources.

In the qualifications to the World Cup we achieved our main goal – promotion to the main tournament from the first position in the group. Not all matches were perfect but having the comfort of leading the group a few tests were run to be best prepared for the WC.

The WC started with a lack of fortune for us – England went to the most difficult group with Italy, France and Brazil as opponents so the top of the top. This worked only as motivation for us :-)

Opening match against Italy had seemed a challenge and took us many hours to be fully ready. We were positive about the result even despite we were not a front-runner – we built a strong & Italy tailored tactic and selected appropriate players. It worked 100% :-)

Now we are heading to the confrontation against France. Be sure we will come to the pitch more than fully prepared. Please support your English team and watch the game.

Overall at the WC we aim high but are realistic as well. That’s why we take it stage by stage – the next one is to advance to the cup phase, which becomes more tangible now than a week ago. If / when we are there, the next goal will immediately appear :-)

I wanted to share Lukasz from the english society, due to personal life I had no time to. I want to for sure regardless of the results I will resign from being the coach of England. I am happy with my cooperation with Lukasz and I think that he can be a good replacement after me.This season I think will give him a good start to then later become the next England representative. On that note , please keep your fingers crossed for our next games.

Can you give me also the updates from the thursday's training session for the players?

It's still a long way to get the title but I'm not saying it's unrealistic :-)

...however none of my colleagues believed, before the WC start, that England could qualify from the group stage. But I did :-)
