Not really, it's a very fair price if he has 3.3 talent as stated in the public note. And judging by the very low price he paid & how he looks like now - he must be very talented.

He has 54 MID sumskill, with similar pace there were only 3 other 54 SS 21yo MIDS on TL this season - went for 7m euro [had 14 pace], 6.75m euro, 6.5m euro [and he is listed for 6.5m euro]

There was only one better MID on TL this season in his age group - SS 58, he is on TL now for 11m euro.

You forgot to mention that you bought him 1 year and 4 months ago

Beckham was also bought for less than 25k euro - and some don't want / can't train players when they are 16/17yo or simply need to buy a player close to their other trainees age, so they buy already trained players with proven talent. That's in fact how you make money here.

You can also ask yourself why did you pay 4.5m euro for an old Turkish guy that can be trained out of a 100k euro youth. Same answer, you needed a player at that age so you paid for someone else's training.

Btw. your Grisha is nowhere near the 21yo guy, he's 3 years older and 4 skills weaker so not the best choice for any kind of comparison.
Judging by similar players, he is worth around 150k-1m euro.

Coz I needed a striker? D'oh (£2.6mil = 4.5mil euros?!?!). I have no doubt your keen scrutiny would've noticed that the said Turkish striker doubled his value in the meantime. But don't let that disturb your sympathy you have for me.

Only his in-game value not his market value, these are two different things. You bought a 27yo and his value improved because you bought him with 0 form and now he has 11 form, d'oh.
