Asunto: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

I would have to agree I was originally looking for a CB that would cover when I change formations, and he popped up and he became a dream striker so I guess I got gassed a bit lol.

At least it's not real money ;-)
2015-04-08 19:58:16

I rarely do tbh. Oh and imagine this player was a 6k signing

Leonard Collic, age: 22

club: AFC Denton Sharks, country: England
value: 267 750 £
wage: 2 415 £
outstanding form
formidable tactical discipline
height: 183 cm, weight: 82.2 kg, BMI: 24.55

excellent stamina tragic keeper
very good pace excellent defender
excellent technique formidable playmaker
incredible passing weak striker

How much would i get if i sell him, he has improved so much that i dont want to sell him he is good enough to stay.

Justin Foley, age: 21

superdivine form, excellent tactical discipline,

good stamina brilliant keeper
formidable pace weak defender
poor technique weak playmaker
average passing unsatisfactory striker

That's because he is a keeper, and there are not many keeper trainers leading toa quality skill shortage, thus driving up prices. S I don't think we can compare a keeper to a normal field player.

Would have cost £2m more when I was "good". So either a bargain or the market is shit. Both?
2015-09-05 23:58:08
I think there is a glut of triple divine strikers and the like. High end midfielders seem to be getting more money than before though. My old 33yo midfielder I sold for a shade over 2m, and I can't remember getting that much for a player that old before.

Interesting. Form may have been a factor in your buy.
2015-09-08 01:49:05
3 games left before 30 yo + form.........
2015-09-08 14:35:19
Yup that's why he's not a money making machine, and i am or was.

I do think the premiership is part of what makes people like Gib bored with the game, and others leave.. you really can't train younger players, & certainly not the way you can in the lower divisions and for me it's [along with watching Sunday's match] the most enjoyment i get from this game, seeing your skill jumps on a Thursday.

You can train on a lower level of course by keeping them playing friendlies but they will not be good then, unless they get 20 minutes 1st team as well, so i am really gonna find it hard to want to be in the Premiership, i am not sitting on a team full of oldies loosing untold year in year out either, i suppose I'll have to bite the bullet one day, when i have 10's of millions spare in the bank

* btw i am not having ago at anyone in the Premiership , please sell it to me.
[apart from Champions league football for coming 1st]

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I find it more entertaining training young players and trying to keep my team under a relative age cap.

Does that make me an ageist?
2015-09-09 12:06:39
Lol nope.

Is there any chance you guys up there can make a pact to train 2 x U21's each [preferably English]
Rules:

U21's must get at least 20 minutes play time [set sub at 61 minutes]

All teams must also have at least 1 other U23 player [so at least 1 of the above makes it to your 1st team.
All teams must also have a U25 player.

recap:
2 x U21's
1 x U23
1 x U25
