Asunto: Bargain or Robbed? You decide
Lol nope.
Is there any chance you guys up there can make a pact to train 2 x U21's each [preferably English]
Rules:
U21's must get at least 20 minutes play time [set sub at 61 minutes]
All teams must also have at least 1 other U23 player [so at least 1 of the above makes it to your 1st team.
All teams must also have a U25 player.
recap:
2 x U21's
1 x U23
1 x U25

If you want results at the top, you have to keep players beyond the age of normal training.
I won the premiership 2 seasons ago with a defence that was at least 25, some up to 28. This season I've offloaded them all and have a defence where the oldest is 25 and results have suffered since. Can still score goals, but playing defenders with outstanding/incredible defending is a recipe for disaster at the top level.

The other approach is probably to go for results and results only. That only works though if you can get to the very top and stay there. I can't see what, if anything Old Evertonians train, but the revenue from constantly winning the cup, extra CC games and finishing in the top 2 in the prem most seasons is probably as good as you get from training players.
Personally i can't see it's worth it for a few years for me and i must be 1 of the biggest not to come up yet... it's top 2 in Premier or pointless, and i don't want to give up training U21's, i'd much rather carry on in division 2, it's so much fun, [multiple skill jumps] bringing them on, makes it more realistic as well.
Not realistic is loads of teams having mostly 28yo-34yo's national teams included, no chance of a Rooney, Sterling, Shaw or Stones coming through aged even 21yo let alone 17/18/19/20yo

BTW i know you want to know this... today marks 2.5 real life years since the Evertonians last lost a cup match!!
Or...
914 days
or 21,958 hours
or 1,317,5370 minutes!

Oh I know. I was in our ML for 2 seasons. I didn't like having a squad of old players and not really getting results. Granted, I'm terrible with tactics and don't make new ones. So I lose there anyways
Wowzers that's a long time plying this game my friend!!
Some people play for fun and enjoy training some play to be number one and be the best there is, not saying my team is the best as lots of better teams out there so I'm still trying in that regard, so I'm challenged just in a different way. That more interesting to me. Gibbage is a legend in this game and he has won more premier league titles than me so there's another challenge you see.
Also I have produced a hell of a lot of NT superstars too.

Everyone has different objectives. My primary is just to keep in the prem, secondary is to make sure I have the most prem titles. I don't think I'll catch you up in cups unless you quit, but even then would take me a while to re-overtake your tally, primarily due to being mostly useless in the cup.

Ok to league but cup is silly, mostly everyone trains in those games except you, so it's no wonder you win every cup game.... it's so easy for you it's now boring...
So i suppose we let you go on like you are, set records that will never be beaten then we hope you leave, seems the only way :(
Unless wait , could you change your mind and train some players in cup matches? maybe one day? we all hoping you will ;)

I would disagree with your statement, there are lots of teams that try to win in the cup.
I think it is disrespectful for you to say that its so easy and just under value the achievement.
I play this game firstly because i enjoy it and secondly because I like the challenge of trying to win trophies and be successful. Its easy for you to sit there and criticise and seeing that you have not won any major trophies its an easy fall back position for you, you can play the game as you want to of course but saying that its easy to win major trophies considering you have not got any is just disrespectful and rather uneducated.
Everyone gets a different enjoyment factor from the game, there is no right or wrong way to play.
