Asunto: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2015-09-10 12:53:41
I would disagree with your statement, there are lots of teams that try to win in the cup.

I think it is disrespectful for you to say that its so easy and just under value the achievement.

I play this game firstly because i enjoy it and secondly because I like the challenge of trying to win trophies and be successful. Its easy for you to sit there and criticise and seeing that you have not won any major trophies its an easy fall back position for you, you can play the game as you want to of course but saying that its easy to win major trophies considering you have not got any is just disrespectful and rather uneducated.

Everyone gets a different enjoyment factor from the game, there is no right or wrong way to play.

I can understand to train as a tool to someday be number 1...... but a game, is about winning.... i cant see why you complain about him.....
2015-09-10 12:56:36
then we hope you leave, seems the only way :(

What a harsh statement...... :/
2015-09-10 13:12:33
Nope i wasn't knocking it just saying how it is mostly. You can't blame me for trying.

Uneducated my dear boy!

Ok well we all better stop training and try harder then ;)
2015-09-10 13:21:01
Erm the sad face = i would be unhappy to see him leave!

anyway i was only testing the waters i meant no harm, was asking! nothing else, but I've really done nothing that Mr Gib hasn't virtually said already...
2015-09-10 13:26:48
Brilliant achievement none the less!
2015-09-10 23:21:09
I hope nobody else leaves ...how about you bring some friends ?:))
2015-09-11 08:40:19
You were saying how it is from your view. How do you think we got to where we are? We trained our way there of course!! Your approach towards the subject was disappointing mate, let's leave it there.
2015-09-11 10:19:57
I am sorry you were offended , maybe my wording seems a little harsh but if i was saying it to you, you would have seen there was no malice in it.
Back in the day it was harder though ;) but also this would mean more teams like yourself, that would make it even less appetizing for me personally, so via that thought i guess i am better off, & i just love training younger players, but yes let's leave it there.

Oh and PS for someone who has tried to leave many times. A little bio of me

Entered the game as Legends UTD in USA lol (server mix up so I left)
Came back again just instantly loved the game. And came back (Unsure of my team name at that time think it was AFC Denton Sharks who cares)
I couldn't seem to get into the prem so I got bored and made a fake team in Russia (LOOOOOOOOOL)
That team got deleted. Lucky this one didnt get banned as I didnt infringe major rules e.g. transfers, friendlies etc. although breaking one of the rules in make a bot.
Finally got my team to Div. II and actually finished 2nd at one point. My team was very strong contenders at one point for promotion to the prem. Then I sold my team as I started Uni and felt it would be a distraction as I was a dj as well so hard to juggle three things (this game does need a little time)
But that was a knee jerk reaction as when I realised I could manage it, it was wayyyy too late and I was relegated to III, I still couldnt recover and was... you guessed it...
relegated back to Div.IV (this is where I considered quitting again)
Now Back in Div II but wait back down to III again
Never produced an NT star let alone player but (still trying key point.)
But on the upside managed Nigeria and one day I hope I could manage England.

Now I simply love the game, I set myself different challenges from signing players to training. Now if I was to have the success Gibbage has I wouldnt even complain, heck if I was to even get into the prem I would love it. Its true many managers are leaving but I think thats down to too many changes in the game all happening too quickly than choosing not to train or having different objectives. People will get naturally bored but don't think its fair to actually say that because gibbage wins all the time its boring. I mean if that was the case, then no one would play sokker because of Poland winning the world cup year in year out back in the day which was finally broken by Italy (Thank heavens). But that challenge alone is enough to keep you aiming high, please don't knock Gibbage achievement, don't care if you think its fantastic, whatever. What you originally said was that its boring because he keeps winning and thats very offensive in its own. Anyways bargain or robbed on the player hahahaha

Time for a revival of this topic.

Herminio Fernández Gregorio, age: 20

club: Mcoi, country: España,
value: 722 100 £, wage: 6 855 £,
superdivine form, poor tactical discipline,
height: 174 cm, weight: 65 kg, BMI: 21.47
bookings:
poor stamina tragic keeper
excellent pace formidable defender
average technique magical playmaker
unearthly passing adequate striker

Can't quite figure out if I've paid silly money or not, 4.5m paid.
2016-04-03 20:38:40
I think you might have overpaid for primary skills. I assume you're training tech and pace, but I think his tech is just too low.

These are all exactly my thoughts too. However, I didn't say anything as midfielders sell for bucket loads once trained and as I don't buy these younger players I have no idea on what a normal market evaluation would be?
2016-04-03 22:19:23
He'll be getting a chunk of def training, plan is to turn him into a rounded def mid.
2016-04-04 07:15:45
Well that certainly makes it easier then. Only needs 4-5 levels of Tech then.
