Asunto: Challenge Shanks

2014-05-19 21:27:07
Yeah I had an all British team for quite a few seasons...as a challenge, It was pretty much all english, with. Some decent scots and one Welshman from memory. However i had to pay over the odds for English players and it began my downfall from the prem.

The problem with something like that is having time to be patient to find good players on the transfer list....I would have to wait aaaages to fill players....

Cool. Yeah i don't want to be buying players.

It seems as if nobody has sustained 100% own youth school in England, and after weighing up some other options it appeals to me on many levels, so will begin to phase out the foreigners and hope to start 100% own youth school squad from beginning of next season.

Should be fun deciding whether to train 'keeper at the expense of some of my current trainees...

I wanna do this as well, I have increased to 30 juniors and most definitely shall be selling my foreign players after training is over. Its true, this game can become very dull but this does offer an opportunity to cure that dullness within the game, I mean imagine reaching the prem with an all English team :))))

Kinda reminds me of Athletic Bilboa.
2014-05-21 14:31:12
Stop copying me Ken.

Why not go all Nigeria?
2014-05-21 16:36:38
Probably harder to get an all Nigeria team than a team of juniors.
2014-05-21 17:33:42
Wow, 5 users? I was jesting anyway, from his Nigeria NT campagin days ;D

Could always get him to club together with ncfc who is managing Kenya these days.

By Sunday evening i will have a squad of my own youth pulls and therefore all English.

I have installed oSokker and tried sending the skills of my u21 players through it, no idea if it worked.

Does anybody use free programs that track training? In need of one, but not willing to buy Plus again for one feature.

£16m in bank and a nice stadium and some OK trainees from my own school. Happy days.

I use apollo. Nice and simple, just like me
2014-08-04 13:45:34
I've gone for Sokker Organizer. Seems good.
2014-08-04 15:19:28
You have a player with the surname "Shanks"??? Amazing coincidence
2014-08-04 20:45:44
Yes, not Armitage Shanks, but still A. Shanks. Had to keep him when he came out. As you can see he is terrible:

Alexander Shanks, age: 22

club: Armitage Shanks, country: England,
value: 9 750 £, wage: 315 £,
unsatisfactory form, unsatisfactory tactical discipline,
height: 174 cm, weight: 74.3 kg, BMI: 24.54

adequate stamina tragic keeper
weak pace weak defender
poor technique hopeless playmaker
poor passing unsatisfactory striker
