Club received 109 815 £ from transfer of junior Geoffrey Inns.
Nice 5% wedge for a re sale, people that say "I can't afford a junior school" i say back to them "I don't know how you can afford not too!" [they can al;ways sell a couple of oldies and suffer in the league for a while, pays off..

To those of us left without a junior school open - You could be missing out on millions..
A few top juniors have to go to someone, it's all luck but when you 1st open 1 it seems to reward you as it did me and nothis - he's had loads....
It's far easier to get them into the U21 squad now & then the money for them sky rockets....
It really dosn't cost much... Id concetrate more on juniors than buying a old player that will get you a few more points but loose you money, newbies should concetrate fully on earning money...
I have had about 15 million from my junior school [Workman went for 5.2m brought back for 60,000] nothis has also had many millions, and will get loads for Macdonald http://sokker.org/player/PID/30276935 and Fairclough http://sokker.org/player/PID/31995526

I have had about 15 million from my junior school
For a new starter, what is the most important thing is proper training as that is a guaranteed money maker. Youth schools may or may not be a financial benefit in the very beginning and could take a very long time to show any real benefit. However, if I didn't think my youth school was worth having I wouldn't bother with it, it's definitely been worth having for me after a very slow start. Therefore, I would say that longer term the youth school will reap you rewards I have no doubt about that.
Just one point, you can't really say that your youth school has got you 15m because some of those players will have been sold on the back of normal training as well. Tbh, even if you buy the cheapest numpty and train him for a period of time, that will net you £££.

yes ok mr finicky , i trained Workman for 2 seasons and got 5.2 million you tell me if that was worth it!
Certainly the main aim is to get decent coaches and a junior school, so you may make some money in the transfer market buying & selling, this may take a couple of seasons, but just buying a older team and trying to win win win will get you there quicker and will also get you nowhere fast.

I never said it wasn't worth it. In fact, I wrote, the youth school were worth having for me.

I have had more than half a million on sales of my old ex juniors this season, not counting the money made with a good crop of kids, definitely worth in the long run, not training any longer, juniors are becoming the main source of income here

Where did I say that wasn't possible or even argue that it wasn't?
I had a YP myself earlier this season which got me 1.5m without any training.
As I see it, which might not be correct, the Youth school for me at least takes a while before you start seeing the benefits. With that in mind, I think it makes most sense to open it as soon as possible as you will likely need to be very patient with it until it starts being productive. So you want the potential unproductive time out of the way as soon as possible. Like has been said, not only can you get money for immediate sales but there are re-sale fees that sometimes show up in your bank account when somebody else sells them too.

I got my 1st big 1 almost straight away [am so glad i put a brilliant coach there of the bat! and could see he could be good and got Magical coach not too long after] I let my results suffer of course to get them but I can't fathom why you wouldn't.
nothis got 2 pretty much straight away, but yeh probably luck, someone's gotta get the top juniors, if your not in it you can't win it ;)
* yes "So you want the potential unproductive time out of the way as soon as possible" exactly.
* Where did I say that wasn't possible or even argue that it wasn't?
Was merely pointing out that Glasson wasn't trained as you previously said about my junior school cant claim 15 million... i get you, but glasson and all his juniors are sold straight away, therefore Ermejo can claim his 26 791 330 £ profit from his junior school.

I've never once said that the youth school wasn't profitable so good luck to Ermejo and his youth school profit. Hopefully, one day my profit will get to such numbers :-)

Half a million was on sales of my EX juniors already sold which have been sold again before their 24th birthday...
Club received 217 500 £ from transfer of junior Teddy Glasson.
Club received 87 600 £ from transfer of junior Tarquin Wrayford.
Club received 236 513 £ from transfer of junior Nathan McManus.
Just saying funding the best youth school is well worth it, the wages for it and the top coach are a long term investment which every team should commit to imho, would give us a few more decent prospects for the NT as well

Ahhh yes money on top of money \O/
* After having a team for over a RL year you should really have a junior school, I have asked a couple of 2015 teams recently to no avail. Yes It would be better for England if we had the maximun of schools open..
