The team played a match. Income from tickets was 7 880 £.

Nice gates for a junior match, I guess it's cos i played number 1 ranked team....

Pays for newer teams to be in a junior league to get to the premiership, all teams have an equal chance with luck playing a hand in what juniors you get.

looks like you should have pumped him too ;)

I lost to a horror goal keeping error, ball dribbled over the line, I think Ermejo swapped my keepers gloves for some with skiddy cream on them ;)
2018-04-04 18:24:56
yeah he done that to mine once too, spent the rest of the game trying to pick the ball out the net :P

Leicester City & Fenland Vikings the only 2 teams ranked in the top 35 to not have a junior school open
Come on chaps England needs you, who's to say you won't have a 1-4 million pound junior coming through? how can you afford to not give it a go?
All it takes is 1 lovely junior to fund you for a while, ask any of us, so why not just keep the very best that come in, always have 6 spaces open but only keep a few juniors to keep the price down.

Good luck

To start with, I only had the junior school open in the vain hope that I might be able to add to the numbers of English players out there, especially as it didn't seem very profitable and a bit of a pain.

However, in time I've come to realise that it more than pays for itself and more besides. Obviously, some people have more fortune than others, but I wouldn't be without mine now, no way! So I get to try and help England and also get positive finances for doing so, a win win in my book :-)

For example, the other week one of my ex-trainees who were trained up by his next owner sold for over 7m (due to his training) and I got 365k as a sell on fee, not bad for effectively doing nothing!
So you don't just have to rely on their first sale to get money either. The trainee I just mentioned also initially sold for just under 3m too as well. The perfect situation is selling for a largish fee and then for the player to be constantly bought and sold so just racking up all the sell on fees ;-)

It's not particularly cheap to run for newish teams but in time once a team is establshed I would wholeheartedly recommend that a youth school should be opened.

Good luck!
