Haven't got my head around how you identify which juniors are worth keeping. I can't afford a top rated coach yet so the reports I'm getting are probably not too accurate but the players qualities are changing quite a bit (both up and down) every week, so it's a bit difficult to identify which, if any, players are worth keeping in my junior school. Any help would be much appreciated.

Right but is there any advice on the sort of levels you should be looking for to keep players in the junior school and which you should reject ? For example I have a 16 year old who's currently weak but he's got another 26 weeks to go in the junior school and I'm not sure if he'll be any good at the end of the 26 weeks or whether I'm just wasting a place keeping him in the school.

16yos are just a pure gamble, but you want them to ideally be around adequate/good to have any reasonable skills. Excellent for 17yos, 18yos formidable +. Very much a rule of thumb, and other factor is when in the season they are ready.

His skills are really nicely rounded, it’s a shame his pace is hopeless.

I don't get why they don't start pace from a minimum of good. I mean how the heck can someone come out of the academy with tragic/hopeless etc pace?
Good to divine, 10 skill levels, like the stamina.
