Still haven't quite got my head around how you identify youths that are worth keeping in the junior school. Are there any guidelines in terms of what age/skill/weeks combinations are worthwhile keeping ?. I've only got an excellent youth coach at the moment so not too sure how accurate my reports are but below is my current crop. I'm interested to see how the top one turns out in 2 weeks time but are any of the others actually worth keeping ?

I take it you had a better coach there to get that guy up to brilliant, I'd put a brilliant coach there while Garner is in your school!

I've only ever had an excellent coach (can't afford much better at the moment) so I'm not sure whether the brilliant for Garner is actually that accurate...I guess I'll find out in 2 weeks. Thanks for the above advice, I'll trim the squad down.

After garner comes out you should shut school until you can get a better caoch, but the 2 go together get a better junior coach get better juniors, sell for more money, a junior coach can make you bundles

If he is Brilliant then he'd 100% of been Unearthly/Divine with a better coach, i can't beleive he's even brilliant though it dosn't make sense

All my opinions about the junior schools are negative!!!

Why?

I also play Hattrick. On there you can see the skills for the academy players and even work on developing each skill. Wish it was the same here. To be able to set a skill training each week and know exactly what you're getting from the academy. The way it's run is almost 90% a waste of time. So many times we get some "brilliant" that sucks and ends up sold for £2 or sacked. And mostly because the skills are weirdly misplaced. Some great tackling skills but shame he doesn't get to the opponent player because his pace is tragic.

Side note: it's prob the only good thing on Hattrick.

Wow Hattrick, that is a blast from the past name. I forgot I even played that....stopped before I started on here. Ive been on here soooo long now too.

I got to the prem back in the day on there. But lost interest after that. Did try and restart some time after but just had no motivation.

This game is actually rubbish this season now because you have to play the exact same team 3 times or go out the cup or loose training, and you know teams in here just wanna win win win so training 10 players nope training only 5 now , and risking way more injuries, this is the season to sell bigtime players worth money before they get injured! this season is a farce

delete it from history whoever wins dosnt get anything but a lucky b'tard trophy ;)

I am so jealous of Lodz and Northern Thistle training very young players this season was 100% the one
