I wonder if there's a better footy manager game ?

This game is actually rubbish this season now because you have to play the exact same team 3 times or go out the cup or loose training, and you know teams in here just wanna win win win so training 10 players nope training only 5 now , and risking way more injuries, this is the season to sell bigtime players worth money before they get injured! this season is a farce

delete it from history whoever wins dosnt get anything but a lucky b'tard trophy ;)

I am so jealous of Lodz and Northern Thistle training very young players this season was 100% the one

Would argue rather than very young players, you would actually want players aged around 22-23. They will be the last generation which will have "full training" as such as most of their training would have been done in 16 rather than 13 week season. Very young players now will not reach their level with near 20% less training sessions per season.

? but they are playing league matchs so they get full training

But will be aging up after 13 weeks rather than 16.

ah sorry didn't click with what you mean't yeah this season sucks for that too your right , just gotta swaet this season out but sell them older players , i think down to U24

This season very much transition. Next season can only train 10 players, going to change the balance of the game a lot. Why I am hedging bets pace training will be the most worthwhile.

Still will be a nice update to the game and make it more playable :P

The junior premier final scores this week remind me of Italian serie A in the 80's :)

re the junior I mentioned a couple of weeks ago ( Luke Garner 18 brilliant [14] outfield 2), I promoted him up today and his stats came up as :-
Luke Garner, age: 18
club: Hawarden Rangers, country: England
value : 89 400 £
wage: 1 140 £
very good [9] form
tragic [0] tactical discipline
height: 183 cm, weight: 82 kg, BMI: 24.49

weak [4] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
excellent [10] pace excellent [10] defender
adequate [6] technique very good [9] playmaker
unsatisfactory [2] passing poor [3] striker

Does that tie in with his estimated skill level of 'Brilliant' ?. He's got a couple of 'excellent' and a 'very good' but nothing approaching 'brilliant' in any skill. Just trying to understand how the junior estimate ties in with his final skill levels.

I may be wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere that the max level for a single skill for a junior being promoted is "excellent", and the total of all of the skills numerically should be 3 times that of his overall rating.
Garner has a total of 45 and 3 times brilliant is 42 so it looks about right (probably close to magical in fact).

Happy to be corrected on the above by those with more knowledge.

Skill distribution looks good too.

This sounds about right. Also, that's a fantastic junior pull when all said and done. And with an excellent coach, likely extremely talented.

ok thanks for all the replies. I'm actually training defenders at the moment so I'm going to keep him and hope I can get him to a decent level

2022-04-08 13:52:17
