not if form remains this way possible 8 drops in a week or possible 8 pops noway this happens , no talking of it though, so i'm blowing it up

don't you think it's really silly and become worst thing in game

Add Workman [5.2M] and Petherbridge [3.6M] to my junior school total = 37 million
then countless players that have been deleted from old age must be near 45 million gained from my junior school, minus coach wages etc
That's without factoring in Moore [21] who i think will get me 7 million by time i've finished with him and Brownhill [21] 2mill then there's this chap

Declan Keegan 16 excellent [10] outfield 18

est. 55 million

I am gutted about phil Rooney i was sure i couldnt do anything with him i under estimated him, if he came along now i'd of been able to keep and train him :(
But other than matthews if i was training strikers that's all i'd of had in quite a few seasons

But to offset that a bit with costs of the junior set up
30 junior places = £18k a week
1 great coach = £20k a week
Total weekly outlay when in junior school = £38k
You have played the game 15 years :) 15*52*38 = £29.6m

If on top some of the value above was gained from training your juniors then you would also have to factor in the cost of the coaches you used to train the players (or more complex work out what value you would have got on the market on immediate sale…).

But also have to take the benefit of junior school mother club money..

I’m not saying junior schools are not worth it - it is - I have 20 places today, just it’s not as big a no-brainer, especially for new team who don’t have much money and don’t get the benefit for a number of seasons.

Controversial but my view :)

oh mate it's bigtime worth it , you buy U19 train nuts off ,sell sometimes after 1 month somtimes 2 months , i guess you need to know your market training players that are worth nothing is futile,, i did it with in 2 seasons within 2 years i had unearthly coaches , i always make lossess but i train players and make the money way more than it costs, and always make a decent profit to subsidise your junior school, this is how you run a business ;)
thing is this is somthing you wanna do whilst down in lower divisions then build team average age up....
nothis chip in

By your time forest i had at least 4 x magical coaches, but I'd of soon had 4 x unearthlys and 1 x magical, those coaches make you far more money , you only need 1 big player to make that profit , didn't you have unearthly coaches before? how long did it take you before?

for me by far top grade coaches are the most important part of sokker

Will be a new season 19 year old. Of course for me that is a negative of the new system….youths have less time per season to improve.

Yes I had unearthly/magical coaches before - but that was when I had a solid Prem/II team with 2500+ fan club and large stadium. Didn’t go straight to those coaches, couldn’t afford em.

5 unearthly coaches can easily cost £100k+ a week - and that is just totally unaffordable for a new team that gets significantly under £50k match income each week.

Whilst you are waiting for a youth to mature and/or to get the “lucky pull” that you can make good money on you bankrupt yourself, and can’t afford any more for players or stadium improvements.

As anyone in business knows new businesses can be theoretically profitable but go bankrupt due to cash flow…a youth squad is essentially a longer term investment - cash out now for future in.

Starting afresh, I truly believe new teams are better off focusing on building a sustainable financial base on weekly (fortnightly) basis - sensible team with pm pitch performance to get a decent fan club, and linked to that sensible upgrades to the stadium - with trainees again trained with sustainable expenditure on coaches - with that you then get a sustainable base that then allows heavier expenditure.

I am currently -200k every fortnight and need to sell a trainee every now and again to put some cash in the kitty...
The only issue is i tend to spend on replacements which isn't the cleverest ..........

I'm a bit lost as to what is going on long term - will be continue to have 3 matches every week - i.e. most weeks both home and away matches? I prefer it as generally means you get match attendance fees every week.

Whilst we're on the topic, I'm very confused as to how coaches will work with the new training regime....If we want to train across multiple skills, will the main coach need to be multi-skilled too?
