Asunto: »[U21] Election/Manager

Hello England users, i would love a 3rd term as England U21 manager.

I doubt there was no one more gutted than me at not qualifying, i watched every minute, kicked every ball, shouted at the screen with disbelief at the bad luck we received, but realised we just did not have the team to start with, this was mainly due to having only 5 or 6 21yo's all season.

This failure has been the making of me in this job, no more getting frustrated or moaning in the forum, i have knuckled down & got on with it & by halfway through you could see the signs of our young side maturing.

We have now gone 5 games unbeaten with 4 straight wins and 3 straight clean sheets, before that we were 1-0 up against Azərbaycan & they got a late equalizer, before that we were 1-0 v Hungary (4th ranked team & group winners by some way) after 70 mins, but lost with a keeper error, now our 19 & 20yo's have grown & are better than alot of teams, We now have the team & tactics to climb up the rankings, happy times :)

I will always try and get more schools open & helping 1st time school openers and newbies , this is the way to insure the England U21's will continue getting better & feed the main team.

I fear a change of management would hault the progress we have recently made. Therefore i really hope i can get your votes.

I hope you are given that chance, I know how much effort you put into the u21s. I think only fair to give you next term as this is what you have been building for....... Good luck.

Do you have a 2 season plan, as I assume by running for a 3rd you must be aiming for a 4th term in the long run? If so what is the plan?

I'd like to be in the top 32, to do that we'd need to play mostly U21 matches or a 21 & 20yo mix at the very least, we hav'nt got the Defence or Midfield yet to play U20 games i don't think, and that's where i went wrong 1st term in charge.

If the top 32 becomes unachievable then i will play U20 matches , we will be top 48 regardless.

Now i must do a good job & get us up in the rankings..

Lack of opposition (I thought there would have been more) - but you've got to keep things going in the right direction, go up the rankings and keep to what you said beforehand in prep for the campaign next season.

But last year i only had 1 other candidate who got 9 votes! (15-9) but yup the Scottish candidate is a newbie & did'nt do a forum post yet still scored 2!

Yes i will try & win all my games or come really close to in the 4 or 5 'big' matches we have coming.
