Yeah a good summary. We were never the largest nation, probably at best a top 10 nation for users but we had a strong core of early joinees to the game and active NT training teams across Prem and II and even III could be pretty strong. That especially ensured we had a solid core of players across all positions probably better than our pure country profile would have expected based upon active users (although we did have IV leagues back then they were full of many transient and low capability teams). This meant that we could run the big non Polish countries such Romania, Italy, Sweden hard despite being on paper underdogs. Just had to avoid Poland who were miles ahead of everyone at least until all teams started to get multi divine players across teams and then making tactics, form etc more important.
I personally was NT yes I think for 1 season, from memory when we were struggling for candidates, however that role needs/needed really careful studying of tactics for every single game especially once qualified for WC and I had 3 very young kids so was struggling to do properly so ensured someone better could take over for WC.
For about 3 years, 10 seasons I only trained and had British players in my squad - mostly Eng NT trainees but also Scotland, Wales to help out those nations where I was an active moderator. Although frankly that was a bad decision for my Prem team and accelerated my team dropping down to II. Probably still got the club logos which used to rotate loads of pictures of British stuff....
There are probably some interesting chats from the past buried 75 pages down the forum!!!

But your solely both going on rankings when its the main england team we feed, 16-32 is where we need to be to always qualify, getting into top 16 at expense of many top 18/19yo's is not the one, ask nothis how Piotr left Scotland team, the team nothis said is not good , this is what happens and i know this first hand, piotr would not play the top 18yo,19yo's so they'll be hurt, I think this is the big mis-understanding about me and what I do, personally I think it's the only way to look after Enlgand's main team so so I was.
but I'm off season after next, notice already handed in, cor dear no one ever posted a single thing for absolutly years, I gave up posting about U21's as zero were interested, I posted for help for certain area's many times, anyway it seems ranking is all one cares about for some reason. I having no jab at anyone just making things clear

Our u21s aren't not good, just maybe not the same as the past few seasons before..looking at some of our junior schools has really encouraged me. Also current training and communications between the community is looking good. Nice to see a friendly forum ;)
Not aimed at anyone, but a bit like bidens inauguration.....mine could have been different too ;)

Bryan,i wasn't going to comment this but i do have to say; you played with many 18-19 players but only from your teams. I have a feeling that you cannot take any criticism. I tried to gently say things towards you, but you take it as a personal attack. I think that Nothis did not receive a bad team from me, if today his team is playing with +53%. I myself had been working with such teams, and win the last 10 matches in which 6 they had been made out of U20. This season i had plans to start in England i asked you what your opinion was. You told me you wanted to continue leading England as that was your plan. I agreed and accepted this. I do not understand why you look for me as an enemy. Do things on your own, clearly then you'll be happy. Thanks to this Scotland has taken over England with many positions:p

Me and the current managers training Scotlands u21 take the credit for the way we are going forward and ratings we are achieving........no one else.
in the past it must remain......

When i was in Scotland at the beginning i did train myself Scottish players, and using huge amount of money on them. It was sometimes that my own team lost on this, so it is nothing new. If you want to get higher and engage more in the representation you have to take risk. As you said that many people train, which means there is a team which is the main idea. Let's not talk further about this topic as no need to get mad on it. Best everyone will do their own thing and England will continue to go down in ranking.

i could play 11 Scottish 18 yr olds week in and out..... which to me is not the main idea.....
looks like we will agree to disagree again.....

It would appear to me there is a certain amount of misunderstanding here due to language barrier? Piotr being Polish maybe is not understanding us correctly or vice versa....mind you his English 2million % better than my Polish ;)
Piotr clearly did an amazing job with the Scottish u21 side otherwise they would not be 15th in the world with only 17 users.
With regards to the England U21 role. There are elections for a reason.....and in all due respect and this is not meant as a slur, after 7 full years I really do feel that BR should have stood aside for someone else. 2 seasons I think is the minimum someone should get unless they slump and do not qualify....if someone really wants to have a go at it and they are a good manager then they should go for the role and get a chance imo.
Ranking is not all that is important to me but we should definitely be higher than we are, anyway I have said a lot and I am not going to start going over old ground.
Having a structure could really help the England NT from the bottom (U21) upwards. As for BR, had you asked me for help I would have done so.....

theres no misunderstanding........ i have said that Piotr done a good job previously, what i am saying again, for the last time .... is that half that team that played tonight werent Piotrs players... there was nothing built for the future when he left.. we are building now, me and the Scottish managers and people who train my players.
There are more players in the U21 from Scottish sides than ever before. :)
Piotr has his past, stop mentioning the future it has nothing to do with him, unless he wants to train a scottish u21?
