Nevermind the result, the performance was ouch, my defenders competed on assisting their strikers. And they've done a great job, hard to decide who's the best of them.

Considering I never buy 1 single player 27+ [only got 1 in my side which i'm selling Tomori tonight] how the hell i won 3 cups is beyond me, i'll put it down to Tomori being my best ever junior , and this season his form has been always Excellent and under previously was always in top form
I've never had a single 28yo+ in my side since petherbridge stayed till 28yo now 38yo

I predict thamesmead v bedzin 1 & 2 in league 1 & 2 in cup next 2 seasons, only way it will change is if another team that buys oldies and just wants to win at all costs, I call these people bad chairmen [giggles] I just can't bring myself loose 3-4 million buying old strikers etc

That quite incredible you don’t have a player over 27! Your team is still very impressive considering that and to win the last 2 cups is a great achievement.

I am surprised you’re selling Tomori tbh, he is still trainable? What are his stats?

My strikers I bought a while ago, I would have changed them by now but as you say I didn’t want to lose 4m upgrading, I also have kept my trainees this season and last season. I do plan on selling Wallace (my best player) this season and use the money to freshen up and bring in younger platers in a few positions.

Also last season was the first season I tried to really go for the league and keep my older players past 29 years old, I have a few subs to fill non training slots in case of injuries or suspensions.

I am actually saying you'll loose 3-4 mill selling your strikers , say 5 mill you'll loose on both min.

Just seen Tomori has 11 pace trains 12 with the Cup, & NT so could be superdivine it may pay to keep him until tuesday... hmmmm, i can't put him up here with England playing very important game, hope he's not injured

* Thought I had a good chance with the premiership this season, GK Injury & Tomori's form meant pears for breakfast lunch and dinner, so i started to dismantle my team selling off the 2 x 27yo's

I thought before the game started I'd probably loose , your 2nd goal wth happened to my keeper ? but you could have scored more, my keeper made the best save I have ever seen in sokker in i think it was 38th minute

People were saying you need 2 teams or you shouldn't have 1 star man .. but if your keeper who cost 5.5 million gets injured who's gonna have a let's say a 4mill+ replacment?
atm I've been lucky as i only have 2 strikers , they cost 4.5-6mill each so hared to get 3 but this really is a must now , even having a 4th not so good one ....
This is why I have to sell Tomori and becuase i have alot of decent younger mids and he'd hinder them

I agree I will lose a lot selling my strikers, I will probably keep Derbin as he’s a monster! Almost 3 x divine with magical PM and Passing.

Your team was I felt the strongest at the start of the season, and ratings matched my thoughts. My ratings have shot up this season but selling Wallace will alter that a bit.

As for the game I remember that save….it was almost enough for me to throw my iPad when you equalised as well! Lol

I can’t afford 2 teams, I have a couple of older reserves in case of injuries but trainees are better now so I can juggle them around. I am training 11 players, more then they won’t all get 100% training so I feel there is better value in doing that and doing well in league and cup for good gate revenue.

My average age will drop once I sell a couple of older players and I’ll invest in good replacements who are younger hopefully.

Only have 3 mill atm, but team worth untold, Tomori is 2 players worth, think I am gonna leave myself with:

1st 11:

1 x 26yo,
4 x 25yo's,
4 x 24yo's,
2 x 23yo's.

Looks good.
Nothing more depressing than to see the red on a sunday morning, hence I tend not to keep 30+ years old players in my squad.

Agree, that's horrid and somthing I've not seen in a long while but will now only see with my reserve keeper and smile that his wages will go down for start of next season :)

I am sure you will still have a highly competitive team! As I say this and last season was the first time my trainees had been good enough to compete at this level. The rest of the team was highly competitive though.

There's a quality gulf in the prem so even with those sales, will still have better squad quality than my own for example.
