Ah bugger. Out of the cup. My conditional orders to bring on 1st team players didn’t strengthen my team as 2 out of 3 times at the specific time I wasn’t behind…

Looking at the Leading scorers, some big names were used in the Cup so far. I reckon I will have to use my first team in the next round if I want to progress to QF. So far, I was pleased I only needed to use my B team. Which tonight got 60 ratings again.

Just have to make sure trainees get training in the league and be worthwhile.

Talking about this, sokker should change the Cup system, so lower league teams play away and get more money out of it. First two rounds are being played on 3100 capacity stadiums. It doesn't help any team involved.

Imagine how helpful would be for a team in Div 3 or 4 to come away with £100k.

Depending on how much people want to win, I think it's 50/50 we get a new cup winner this season.

For the sake of English clubs, it would be better if the cup wasn’t won by the Wdp team.

Maybe if Bryan, who is similar in potential to Wdp, won it instead.

If Thamesmead are putting up mid-to-high 60 ratings they become a target for anyone to say "F**k it, let's have a go". I like Thamesmead but it would be good for the league to have a bit more competition.

Man United for me next round. My record against them of late is poor so will be tough.

I always play weaker trainees in the cup until I need to change it. There are bigger ratings this season all round though. I have yet another tough draw compared to some, I thought is was based on rankings but it can’t be…?

You would think having been in the prem for 2 years, multiple top half finishes, although relegated last season I would be an away side in the last 32 of the cup, but clearly not!

I would have thought FC Warta would be the lowest ranked and I’d have drawn them away but I got Schadenfreude who were in the Prem last season…….ill enjoy the gate money though especially if it’s a sell out!

It’s not strongest vs weakest.

Best 50% are seeded and the other 50% is matched with them randomly.

Ah fair enough, I think that’s better tbh but I always thought it was on ranking. I wouldn’t be adverse to it being fully random either……it is in real life.
