I think some of this goes back to what I've asked before.

Does the match engine generate the result on the loading screen and the match just works towards an already determined end point?

or

Does the match engine just generate the stats and tactics and the game is rendered in real time?

If it's the first, JE has got a point and this game has a problem.

I maintain there is a hidden form thing somewhere as my team can play unreal one week and then struggle against the same team the week after.

I felt the cup game was pretty even tbh, I'd have to watch to again maybe.

I know and other users know, this game without wdp would be so exciting, I am gutted JE didn't pull out all the stops to beat him when WDP was in trouble for this game only, I feel a few teams would have done him last night

It's the first, because if you look at the goal scoring stats, they update as soon as the game begins.

In all fairness I have seen real life games where for example in the FA Cup West Ham at Villa were by far the better side 1st half and then 2nd alf Villa were far better and won. Yes injuries hurt us that game and probably made a big difference.....but is the game not the same as real life matches where things just change in game?

WDP won't be top forever. He's had a good run but it is heading towards the end as the old system trained players slowly fade out.

Whole game is generated at the start of the game, then it is visually represented.
It is not a "draw the result and then make it happen" though, it's action by action.

Look, I've said what I had to say. I am really proud of my tactics last night that made this conversation happen. If I'd have lost 7-0, this conversation wouldn't take place. Despite the defeat, it was one of those games that makes me think playing sokker is fun too. In my head, I was the better team, if you take away the super players freak performance (see the wdp's striker towards the end of game), my B team was the better side against players that played the Champions final.
Even if I won, I would've had to fight against same game engine issue again.
But, somehow, I feel like it's not my success that sparks this conversation, rather than the elimination of Thamesmead from the competition.

He'll stay there, no one cares about winning more than him, done all my winning as a sportsman, hated losing, in fact i do hate losing, does it come across? lol dosn't want another english user in Europe with him, rather hog the lot ;0

i sold best striker & best defender, that was that not replacing them, could not care less, juniors have saved me from leaving the game

I gave you congrads until i heard you played your reserves shirked it, oh well its cack anyway let him win, bedzin would of done you in the semis anfield, but we'd of had a new winner then everybody else is happy not JUST WDP
the way your saying it is your reserves IS your first team, is that because of form only?

Sorry i was a bit ott JE, it's only a game,
it's just frustrating to the point of giving up, in 3 seasons i could of challenged for the title 3 of my more key players were injured or on red after first game and missed all the big games after x3 seasons at least

I get it. Frustration is what most users get out of this game, don't worry.

I care about winning of course, I have a competitive streak as I did when I was younger playing. My son has it too......I always play to win unless I truly don't care. I had many years out of the game giving default 5-0 wins through having not senior players but kept the youth school going to help England. I worked hard to build this side once I came back, it has a shelf life and I will drop down soon....it's up to you lot to beat me not let you win :p

It's not even you that is the issue, it's that none of the teams chasing you can get consistent results. The chance was there last season for someone to step up, 52 points is a very doable target. They could have lost to you twice and still finished with 60 had they won the other games..
