Couple of the old reserves in the lineup but unlikely to be difference makers. Not impossible I could win but I think unlikely.

Games have started

4-0 and out. Reserves getting better, up to 52.9 rating.

2-1 win, awful performance. Trainee sent on, gets sent off after 8 minutes. What a waste!
Lucky though, 87th minute, their striker hit the crossbar with an empty net in front of him.

3-0 win tonight, happy to get through. I expect it’ll be tougher from the next round onwards however.

I'm out after an absolute pasting. Got the same opponents in the league soon.

lol I wasn’t complaining really but I could gave got a far easier tie, and I will be playing to train players :)

I got tonked by a very strong colne

I am going to ensure training for my trainees is good and because I have now got a tricky situation where defenders and mids need different things I am going to put different orders on players out of position. I feel there is a strong chance I may go out tomorrow night against a full strength bot Shakespeare.

A 21st minute red card to one of my best mids didn't help me tonight, and some awful finishing plus good goalkeeping had me thinking it was going to be one of those night......however won 3-2 right near the end. I was convinced it was going to extra-time or another silly error would gift them a winner. Relieved to get through but unless I go strong now in the cup I fear I wont get much further.
