I'll be the first one chanting this if we don't actually qualify!

However, perhaps a little harsh for the moment given we've only lost 1 WC qualifying game and that were to the top seeds with the last kick of the game. But no matter, there's only one way to stop such talk :-)

Today was all about the result. So because of that I'm very happy with 4-1. We simply had to beat Canada today in order to keep pace with France who won earlier and Malaysia who are likely to win later.

However, Malaysia surprisingly lost today so we're back up to 2nd in the group with 4 games left to play.

Good result

We played the minnows of the group today so were very much expected to win. We weren't helped that we received a straight red card in the 29th min though. We will miss Reakes next week in our important match against Malaysia, which is a blow :-( The good news were that we were already 4 nil up at the time and we still went on to win 13-0. For the time being at least, until the other 2 matches are played, we find ourselves sitting on top of the group.

Malaysia are weak. They got a couple of lucky results but now they are getting found out.

Qualification is in the bag.

Beating Malaysia 4 nil today now puts us pretty darn close to qualifying.
1 more point from our last 2 games guarantees qualification.

Just as well as the masses never quite managed to chant "tcd_uk out" properly. Too busy learning a new word..."prorogue".

Probably don't even need that. Unless plannning a GD swing of epic proportions between now and the end of the game with France.
