After much deliberation I have decided to switch Lampard for Scholes his goals per game and assist ratio are just ricdiculous

it sound like the most title winning best 11. The proof is gerrard, he might've slipped or not won titles but he was by far the best mid in PL. Same goes for gazza. Or (in other positions) makelele, des walker and so on. I don't buy this stats, tiles/trophy media style ranking. It really annoys me when people say messi/ronaldo are the best ever and they quote stats. NEVER in a million years any of them two would be able to go a shit team like napoli and win the title with them in what was the best league in the world back then.

1. If it was the most premiership titles team Roy Keane [7] Beckham [6] Phil Neville [6] Irwin [7] & now Scholes [11] would be starting

2. Gazza was mostly before the premiership started i love him he would be in my favourite team but not the best team
Des Walker was also before the premiership era

I agree. Napoli was a decent team but with Maradona was completely different. In fact after he left Napoli team didn't arrive any close until few years ago.

Napoli was fighting to stay up. Nobody EVER thought that they will win anything, nevermind the title. Their only joy was to shout abuse at the northern based teams. And they got as good as they gave lol. Even better. After Maradona they went down all the way to serie C. Hamsik got them out and back on track.

That would be nicer.

These are the players that (even playing for another team than LFC) I enjoyed watching. I could add: Finnan, Park Ji-Sung, Makelele, Les Ferdinand, Klinsmann, Pallister, Cantona, McManaman

My PL best team would be:

GK. Schmeichel (probably difference in Utd winning 2 or 3 more titles)
RB. L. Dixon just ahead of Neville.
CB. T. Adams just ahead of Terry
CB. V. Van Dijk (only small number of years but no other defender mentioned close to World player of year)
LB. A. Cole
CDM. Makelele just ahead of Keane / Viera
CM. Gerrard just ahead of Lampard
AM. D. Silva
LW. C. Ronaldo just ahead of Pires
ST. A. Shearer just ahead of Henry
RW. De Bruyne

The RB position seems not the strongest position. TAA will probably take this spot if he keeps on developing, though I am a little bias being a LFC fan.

Also how could he be the best passer, if he has half the assists of the two others..... lol

Because Scholes passed from downtown and started the move and becks or gigsy crossed it, i'd give assist to 2 players in that case then Scholes would be your leader, anyway I agree with you about Gerrard now as Liverpool fans say he's there best player ever and boy they had some players......

Scholes Legendary Long Passing Skills

Scholes was a good long passer but to me no way in the same league as Gerrard. Scholes passing abilities was mid length passing.

Arguing 2 assists for a goal sound a bit like desperation to prove your point. Do we make David Batty a great assist maker cause he made many passes to wingers who crossed to Shearer. Of course not.

I'm a Liverpool fan so you may say I'm bias.

Gerrard probably is LFC greatest player but I will always pick Dalglish mostly due to the way he acted with regards to Hillsborough. Truly great man.

Gerrard's better than scholes we've prooved that with the fact Gerrard is voted best ever Liverpool player end of story....

I swapped out Scholes for Gerrard ages ago in my best ever 11
