I was commenting on your post in page 2 where you said "Because Scholes passed from downtown and started the move and becks or gigsy crossed it, i'd give assist to 2 players in that case then Scholes would be your leader".

Not 2 assists per goal to 1 player but 2 assist between 2 players. So yes you did come up with it. (see page 2).

I wasn't arguing, just pointing out this bit of comment even if written in jest is ridiculous. :)

yup I agree with myself from page 2 scholes should be credited with many more assists, at least double what he is credited for.

I still agree Gerrard better than Scholes though, but Scholes was the best premiership passer for many people in this country, how many premiership titles did Gerrard get again? as a man united supporter saying Gerrard is better than Scholes i think you should be miles happier about that.

You cannot really compare Scholes and Gerrard for me, Scholes was a super passer...as was Carrick. Gerrard was far more dynamic as a player. Who would you choose in your midfield I guess dictates who you think is the better player, and as a neutral who supported neither Man Utd or Liverpool....I would choose Gerrard every day of the week. For me Gerrard and Lampard are comparable.

Maybe compare him with Bryan Robson I'd of picked robbo all day he was always immense for England too
in his day he was maybe the best box to box player Gerrard maybe not the best midfielder, remember this is best ever premiership 11 and all other supporting clubs will say to you where are Gerrards premiership medals?

Gerrard was the best Liverpool player sits far better with me aswell as Liverpool supporters

Lampard and gerrard are different players , lampard wasnt a tackler like gerrard, lampard was a far higher goal scorer, Gerrard was a tougher player more like Robson but not quite but both G & L wanted to be the one to break forward or score the goal and that made them not play well together in my book

I am sorry I disagree, just because he did not win a Premiership medal you cannot say he does not sit up with the best Midfielders in the Premiership. He won a champions league title....cup finals. Only too well do I remember the final where he cost West Ham the cup through sheer brilliance! Scholes was surrounded by brilliant players and a brilliant manager....Gerrard did not have that.

Gerrard all day long is in the best of the Premiership midfielders for me. Shearer won barely bugger all but he too ranks easily in the best strikers....
