Asunto: [u21] pazdzierz84 - the future is now

Hi everyone !
Sorry for my bad english at first !

As some of You know, I'm running for a coach of English U21 National Team.

I do not know the coaching style of Bryan Robson, so I will not say, I would be better - I would try to introduce myself:

- 36yo
- football fan (who woud have guessed - in footballgame :P)
- former forum moderator (M) in sokker
- former coach of U21 Poland (6 seasons, 3x WC stage, 2x World Champion winner)
- former coach of U21 Czech Republic (2 seasons, 1x World Cup stage - it was few years ago, when They were much more weaker than now)
- forum bandit (in the past)

About my coaching idea/plans:
- lot of scouting (when You are Romania or Poland, You should scout, when You are any other team, You scout or You die)
- using various of tactics: for example 4-5-1 / 5-3-2 / 4-4-2. With wingers or without them.
- planning to qualify to the next U21 World Cup
- create a group of users who will train english youth players. There is no hope to develop English NT, when there are no users who will help You/Us in that. First of all - GK - I did not find good english GK younger then 20yo. Goalie is a main position on the sokker pitch.

Hello, have you managed any smaller nations at U21 level? Was the Czech team low in users etc and what did you achieve with them?

How would you scout? We do not seem to have much of a scouting network currently. Are you saying you would use more than one tactic?

What is your preferred formation for a nation that is not as strong as a Poland for example?

what made you apply for the England u21?

1. the weakest team I managed was my own team :)
2. There were ~ 250 users I think.
3. It was me, who started to make buing & training Czech players popular on their forum. Look at them now, They fight for every good czech player on TL and made a monster NT.
4. I achieve... nothing - I won an qualifying group, but World Cup was bad, we did not leave the group :(
5. scouting - using some programs (it could not work now, they were old programs made by polish users), searching on TL, etc. But the best way is to make training english players popular (by english users but also by lot of my friends).
6. tactic - of course, this is a coach job to play tactic which is the best. One day it is playing with 5 defs (for example against strong teams, or the ones which are using winger a lot), another days plaing offensive (like 442) and the next week playing counterattack (like 523). But first of all, the best tactic is the tactic which suits my own team.


nothis - hard to say. I back to play sokker and I realised, that when I'm not a moderator any more, I have much time to spend. First I thought to aply for polish U21 (my quiet wish is to win 3rd U21 gold cup and being the first user who done it) but then I realised that I want to go "for another adventure".
As a football fan I like England, I've work and live there for few moths.
I'm honest to You - English sokker U21 NT is not bad, but not the "big one" so it will give me lot of fun to see it develop season after season.

Purely down to the tactic and scouting response and your experience with other nations you have my vote. I was thinking of standing myself but now that there is a credible alternative choice in you I will vote for you instead. England U21 need a change and it is long overdue, we need scouting and we need alternative tactics. Whilst BR has done a good job he has done it for too long and things need to freshen up drastically. ;)

You will need to be active on the forums however to stand a chance.........get people involved.

You should not worry about my forum activity - there are some days when I'm log in only for a moment but also there are days when I'm active in sokker for few long hours :)

forum topic about english future stars is a good idea - anyone who see good player on TL/TT (or even want to sell his own player) get chance to inform other users about it.

We do have specific trainers of players here. Nothis does strikers, I do midfielders.

and I train defenders - good for the start :)

That is great news as I am not sure we have a specific defender trainer currently.

times changes, people changes - but one thing is permanent - I love U21 :)

since i support the english db contact me after elections for access.
we had really bad experience in Scotland. DB was erased 2 times from the banned NT so what do you think of such behavior?
