Hi Truffs, if you feel I went about it the wrong then that is fair enough. I did actually speak to BR via private messages first however. Then he did not like what I was saying...therefore I had in my opinion no other option than to raise my concerns here on the forum. Gibbage had actually said things on a number of occasions for a while now though.

BR has don't the role for 7 years now, that a huge amount of time, and he is asking for another 2 seasons.....part of my opposition to this is the fact there have now been 2 extremely good defenders that are now 22 and 23 without a cap to their name that should never have been the case.

As for what I did in the past....it was ages ago and the community was far more active with more teams and players to scout...so it was harder, however I did have a couple of people help with scouting....at what stage has BR asked for help?

With regards to my ban of course it was wrong but it has happened and I am not fussed about it any longer as it was overturned straight away by Admins.

I would have another go at the role myself but right now I can't as work is too busy and frankly I wasn't sure what was happening to the game engine and working on new tactics etc.

Lets wait and see what happens, with only 12 votes from England it is not a large number and arguably he could get back in. I will not specifically train English players if he remains in charge as I sold arguably the best of the 20 year old mids due to 0 caps when BR's mid has 29 caps.......I believe we need fresh blood in charge and with a number of Polish players in England anyway, and given pazdzierz previous experience I feel it could work well.

Thanks for the reply but I don`t think we have really got to the nub of the question which is how can we actually help (in a limited fashion for those time poor) these England managers?

Again you have brought up Brian`s 7 actual years in charge. In my book he has been quite a journeyman for England when the days of Sokker were getting darker and darker. Out of those 7 years how many years of help has he had or asked for? Who knows? Only him but heck what "standards" are there for England managers and managers of England?

Yes I know you feel the Panzer chap could do well. My point is perhaps he could do better with some sort of help? Threatening not to training England players is hardly helpful to the other England manager (alligator?) and is quite frankly your right and does not require several posts about it.

Brian and Panzer have invested quite some time and cash in this game, I gave up plus years ago so I applaud both of them. I suspect Panzer would have moved on to other countries years ago if he found himself in Brian`s position whereas Brian has stagnated due to sticking around this England set up and has probably learned bad habits as indicated by your assessment. Whoever wins, we should find some way to help them.

I have no issue helping scout players, the pool is quite small now so it would not take much time to go through each team in England and find the youth players either in their side or sold on.....

With regards to BR's 7 years, I am sure he has been a talisman.....and I am sure he has done a good job in the past. What is not in question is the fact that players from his side that are not as good as others have exceeded caps of the best players of the age group above which were even at the age below....far superior. I am not looking to argue this, I merely pointed out facts, moving on you are quite right though things need to change which is what I am striving for.

With regards to not training English players.....for over 2 seasons I trained Jordan Reid and paid £2m for him, he was not given a solitary cap so I sold him at a loss because his form was too low and in BR's words he would not play him with form so low.....I then watched time and again Asprilla a worse player at time time get cap after cap and all the extra training these sub appearances achieved. Asprilla is being played with the same level pop form that Reid was too low to play with.......this is where BR lost me, and I did not say anything for months.

You can help every coach, who leads English NT - even if he is from Poland, not England :)

I will gladly accept any help - in scouting, tactic advises (for example build a group of english users in England Association), etc. I have also a group of sokker friends who will help to train english players when needed.

if win, also looking for help from Brian Robson - quite sure, noone know Your U21 better than him.

Bryan Carragher 18 brilliant outfield 3

I have not had a player from England as i did not have great choice. There is a chance that i will have a great player. From my part i will try and train English players

This is getting more like it!

So it’s looking like we do have people who can help out a bit. Once the election is over both England managers should say what they need so the community can try to help them.

i just hope we help both England managers, whatever the outcome.....

The main thing that is needed is community involvement and participation. It is something sorely lacking with both NTs at the moment. It's why things stagnate as much as they have done, both NTs used to generate a lot of forum activity and multiple candidates used to apply for each job.
2021-01-03 00:17:28
we are all to blame then?? yes??
2021-01-03 08:46:16
Probably, but the NT manager needs to be the driving force behind that. It was odd as even though bryan had a solid campaign in the U21 WC, there wasn't much from him about it (heard more about Scotland U21s). You also wouldn't know from the England NT that they had qualified for the WC as Alligator I don't think has ever made a post on the forums.

Unlucky Pazdzierz....good effort. Unfortunately lost by just 1 vote! :(
2021-01-03 22:16:55
please get behind the u21s.... if we have a problem let him know.......

i will be distracted as i have my own u21 issues, but no backstabbing or training own players please...

we have had legends getting involved on the forum , please keep it up
2021-01-03 22:24:33
I did let him know.....I hope simple things like scouting are done. The lack of any sort of post around the u21 election by the manager who won really says it all to me.
2021-01-03 22:31:40
thank You all - for votes and for the discussion in this topic and in sk@

I wish Your NT the best - good luck to Bryan Robson!!

I hope You remember me - maybe we will see quicker then all think

Good campaign Padz.....just bad luck. At least you got conversation going on the campaign and made a speech etc.
