Asunto: Do we want the lists again?

I have searched many a thread in the forums as I was advised that this topic was covered many moons ago. I stumbled across this calculation in the NTDB, unsure if it fits as a starter?

GK = 3 x GK + 2 x Pace + 1.5 x Pass
DEF = 2 x Def + 1.5 x Pace + 1 x Pass + 1 x Play + 1 x Tech
MID = 1.5 x Pass + 1.5 x Play + 1 x Tech + 1 x Pace + 1 x Def + 0.5 x Str
ATT = 1.5 x Str + 1.5 x Pace + 1.5 x Tech + 1 x Def + 0.5 x Pass + 0.5 x Play

I would say that we require a minimum level of accumulative score to list players otherwise for the owner of the thread to keep it updated would be time consuming. I will leave the minimal levels to more experienced users as they have much more knowledge around this topic.

I was also advised that there is a code available to allow others to view your hotshots within the listings. If anyone knows how to do that and can share the code here that would be fantastic.

Sorry I was busy with work.

I would participate if you wanted to do it but when I ran it I was spammed by a misery guts and a few others telling me I was telling everyone our under 21 skills and we should use the database.

It was quite popular when there was no under 21 national competition but because of the above once the under 21`s had matches it was updated less and less.

It will only be as good as the data submitted and inputted by the users. If it showcases talent or individuals as they increase the skill level in various attributes thus improving their overall points score then it does no harm in my own opinion. As a new user I have not been shown where the database is and how to use it so that option appears dead in the water also. I have no doubt that some users may not update their players here, it's their own choice, not obligated to.

It would be nice to have an updated England player database for youths available for all English wannabe trainers as sometimes these players are for sale. I know Dlrspare2000 and Jazz Galvin will add players as will I. At the start, some of the listed players will be quite weak but once the big hitters start updating their youths then each user can see where their talents sit within the game and potential for that elusive U21 or National call up one day?

Have started to create the player lists, looks bare due to only 2 teams giving details and updates, that's not a dig!

Slowly there is progress in this, I do wonder how the U21 and National team managers select their players. I still don't have any idea where the database is kept or how to upload players for their attention?
