Asunto: NT - new sezon

I'll not begrudge BR a go at the main NT. His U21 reign became very stale and the main NT would be a fresh start. It would be important not to let issues that were there with U21s creep to the NT though.

Bearing in mind both roles have 1 person standing I’d suggest they both look odds on certainties ;)

Qualifying everytime but one [early doors in reign]
taking us from outside the top 50 to as high as 20
winning the U20 Tournement beating Spain 2-1 in the final
had some great results 1-1 Romania, 0-0 Czech rep
i wouldn't call that stale I'd call it a kind of wenger, U21 job was not easy by the end of my reign, i see my time as u21 boss as well above average

Im not really in this for anything but getting as far as i can off the bat, as soon as anythig goes in other direction i'll step down gracefully so no need to worry

Forestman have you been England boss? Wdp74 have you ? I know Gibbage has but did has Gib been u21 boss?, who left in the game that's an English user has other than Nothis and gIbbage?

I have no interest in being England manager at the moment, I barely have enough time to play my team……if I wanted to I would stand. My issue with your u21 role is well documented and you know why I had the issue….plus had the boot been on the other foot I would expect everyone to dig me out for it too.

This is an NT topic forum.... so far nothing bad has been said or commented in my opinion and it Looks like the current candidate is starting a fresh with us all behind him if he gets voted in... so unless about applying for the NT or what he can bring to England i want no more mentions from Candidate or anyone else ;)

forestman has - he qualified England to the WC and I think it was then ermejo who took over for the WC campaign. Fman actually did a pretty good job.

I decided some time back I wouldn't run again. You have to quit while on top sometimes, getting to the WC semi final, is relatively unlikely I will beat that. I think my record with the main NT was only 1 competitive loss in my 3 seasons (the very first NT season was a season of friendlies).
