How is everyone? Can someone point me toward a newbie guide?

I've been training this player but his stamina is weak, should i sack him?

Hi, welcome to the game

The newbie guide (england) is way out of date but will give you a basic idea on coaches and players to buy and those to get rid of

the most important thing is do not spend your money in the first season, it is halfway through so concentrate on next season

a 28 day embargo on selling players you buy was introduced since the newbie guide and it is a killer for new players to the game (from experience) so again spend your money wisely

Welcome back Jimmy!

Hi Jimmy, I found it tricky at first to understand the bottom of the market - there are relatively few newbie players, so the market at the bottom is quite thin. Therefore my recommendation be careful on splurging loads of money on trainers and trainees until you get a feel as to what makes a difference. Also remember remember remember you make sod all in III at first with 200 fans...really easy to run at a horrible loss if you buy expensive (or even half-expensive) coaches...

Cheers for the advice Forestman. I see what you mean about bottom of the market. I've bought a few players that seem reasonable for a newbie for next to nothing. Think i'll do stamina for a bit then possibly keeper training.

I had £31k from sponsors in current week, and salaries of £27k so i think that's OK for now :/ did just sack my keeper after his weekend exploits though as his wage was too high.

Yeah it’s really easy to be able to afford players on the transfer market that you can’t afford their wages…basically like getting messi on a Bosman!!

How's the team doing Jimmy?

Not all that great :D thanks for asking. Kept my keeper trainees for pace training, but haven't really done anything about getting in anybody decent to fill the rest of the squad. I've just been wanting to get my own juniors to fill the rest, but even if i accept the tragic ones, it'll still take 1-2 seasons i guess. And that won't particularly help me (it'll just be "fun").
