Asunto: Season 61

2022-06-03 21:42:02
If you would all also start from scratch - all of you - would be really helpful for me, as Im in big do do next season as the new training regime totally doesn’t work with a “pensioners plus keeper training strategy”. And I don’t have enough money to be able to buy trainable players good enough for II. :(

But on the bright side. My fans are madly in love with the club despite us battling still to avoid auto relegation….!!!

What the hell…..how is that even possible? There’s even a post in between! Lmao
2022-06-03 22:42:49
You need to start again….again lol

Sell up and buy loads of youngsters.

At your level i would have thought you'd have at least 2 juniors coming through worthy of playing in your team ? if i was you i'd be having a magical coach in my junior school

You've got Beckham, he's worth a fortune. Cash in, buy promising young players, train for about 3-4 seasons and you're on steady tracks. Assuming your coaches are up for the job in hand.

Decided to upgrade my main coach. Got this one on my 4th go:

Harry Bryan, age: 63

wage: 33 900 £
club: Rock Bottom, country: England,
magical [15] coach
Training effectiveness as head coach:
incredible [13] of stamina unearthly [16] of keeper
unearthly [16] of pace unearthly [16] of defender
unearthly [16] of technique unearthly [16] of playmaker
unearthly [16] of passing unearthly [16] of striker

Keeping him! Should be handy for the new season. Even though aware potentially of incoming divine coaches.

I'm surprised he's only magical with all those skills and that wage.
2022-06-04 21:53:41
he is pretty magical ;)

decent
2022-06-05 10:41:45
yeah that a liberty being magical

they cost me 3-4mill if overall is unearthly

not sure what i paid for this chap, I'd guess about 700k, his wage would have made him pricier, my coaches were all got about 2009-2010 i think, got my first when i sold my first nice junior Workman to Wdp for £5.2m

Szczęsny Rabiniak, age: 74

wage: 24 360 £
club: Man United 1995-96, country: Polska,
magical [15] coach
Training effectiveness as head coach:
magical [15] of stamina formidable [11] of keeper
unearthly [16] of pace unearthly [16] of defender
unearthly [16] of technique unearthly [16] of playmaker
unearthly [16] of passing unearthly [16] of striker

Problem i have always faced is having an older keeper is not good because of this coaches keeper skill, but i don't mind my 33yo dropping 1 skill because wasges drop a significant amount divine to unearthly

I know tcd uk got ole solksjaer unearthly coach first try, I know of another who got one 4th attempt, I'd leave it a week after Aluminum if anyone else thinking of having a go

Easy to forget when you have been playing a long time and have a big stadium and fanbase, and get large match fees, however I learn the hard way when I I first restarted the game I very almost bankrupted myself going straight in with Prem mindset of a strong coach setup and big junior school and had to abandon it. When you start up, with a small fan base, in comparison to player wages, the extra costs of a junior school and decent coach is simply unaffordable unless you are extremely focused on having a very low wage team. . In III leagues more than half the league is full of bots who generally attract poor crowds to games. I used to get as much money from playing Rock Bottom in the friendly league as I did in actual league matches vs bots!!!

Therefore I initially focused on building my fanbase and stadium so that I could earn a decent income from matches....I'm still working on it but now have a decent(ish) stadium and decent(ish) fan base, so I restarted the school this season however I am still mostly sacking players, and still can't afford a really good coach.

I've still not got anywhere close to the level of coaching etc I had while at Mcoi. The head coach is a step in that direction but assistants are still not as good and neither is the stadium. But I'm doing a lot of hedging of bets with how things will be next season to try and optimise for that. I had planned to buy a new GK but feel I can train my existing one rather than scrabble around trying to find a better replacement.

3-1 win so am up to 30 points and guaranteed at least a playoff and a small chance of making the top 6.
2022-06-05 21:54:02
Heavy 5-1 defeat. Means can't avoid a playoff now though. A win against Anfield guarantees a playoff. Anything else and could potentially auto relegate.

Absolutely thrashed Legia 4-0, rolled out a new tactic and I dominated the match. Very happy, if only I had not had the awful draw against WESFA early In the season.

It was only a 74k crowd which is odd, was a warm day, the top 2 and fans madly in love…plus the 2 largest fan clubs. I hoped I might fill my ground…..still a nice gate revenue though.

I'm staying up! Chuck and Pastow play each other so my last game makes no difference. Well, no difference to me ;)
But what a season! Running out of breath towards the end, nearly bottled it.

You have a had a brilliant first season up, well done!
