Asunto: U21 Nothis

Sorry guys :( I did say it was a gamble but will learn from my mistakes ;)

Next week is a chance for others to shine and then back to business

I'm going to take the blame for that because it was my formation. While it certainly didn't help that Scotland changed formation to something we didn't prepare for, I'm absolutely mystified as to what just happened. That performance was so unbelievably bad. Since when are our players so easy to tackle? Why did they keep fumbling the ball and passing backwards? If you've seen me use this formation at club level recently you'll know that's not how it's meant to work, and these players are supposedly better than mine.

I'm upset and furious.

To give you some idea of the progress we're making with the youths

There are currently 61 players aged 21, who meet the minimum value we require

There are currently 79 players aged 20, who meet the minimum value we require

There are currently 48 players aged 19, who meet the minimum value we require

There are currently 66 players aged 18, who meet the minimum value we require



I'm a little concerned about the lack of 19's, but the ones we have seem to be quality. It's good that we'll have more players available to us for next season.

we have a lot of people training and training well which i hope they continue doing ;)

I think having a system to identify them will pay off eventually but it's going to take some time. The Daily Transfer Show has only been running for about 9 weeks but I think it's helping to find these players.

Im quite certain that the scouting work you do is very beneficial for England, and from when I started coming here, it seems to me English coaches Are much more frequently buying english.

I think most people just didn't have the time to properly look and scout for English players. To be honest I feel a little bad about it being U-21 only, because I don't much help the full NT manager, but there's a logic to that. My feeling is that by focusing on the young players, eventually they'll filter upwards. A player who isn't trained properly by the time they leave the 21's is never going to reach the NT anyway.

i have decided that we need another push for our U21s , a bit more energy :) but also i would like to go upstairs and apply for our NT.. i will still give 100% to the U21s until the end of the season and if you want our current NT to continue i will also respect that....
I believe having both NT managers from our leagues will benefit both and yourselves ;)

as i said i hope to gain your respect and support towards the end of the season and push forward as we are :P

But i will be giving me my vote!!!!!! :P

A self confessed Scot lost to Scotland 2-1, I think that deserves an explanation sir! :p

No truth in the rumour he spend the night at a luxury Scottish castle the night before, sampling whisky until, well until kick off as the bottle he was holding got confiscated.
He was attempting to enter Scottish fans section, until his assistant reminded he's actually supposed to be in the dugout for the opposition.
