We lose the second game this season against Ireland, it just turns out to be better than us.
The rival strikers today did whatever they wanted. Our defenders can't pass a simple ball forward.... They give it anywhere but not forward.
Efficiency again did not assign.... although we had more than 50% of accurate shots - and that's a success.
To top me off, from the 62nd minute we played on the advantage of one player - it did not change anything.
I'm just pissed off...

I'm glad to see that a team played without the winger won against the team that played with one. I hope I'm not aggravating your frustration. It's just a personal thing (yep, another one) I have against the winger tactic. I think the game engine rewards it way too much. It's the laziest tactic, if you ask me. And yet, the most rewarding, hence almost all NT's play it.

You are right a lot. Maybe I should change my thinking?
I always try to use the best we have.... In the U27 tournament - our strikers are unfortunately out of form and here it was crucial. Because as always we create situations for ourselves.... It would be worse to turn them into goals.

Today we had a lot of bad luck. From the beginning of the match our winger got injured(slight injury) he didn't come off the field because he had a substitution in the last minutes for Moore. That is to say, from the beginning of the match our biggest weapon was with a slight injury...
The goal we scored was after one of the most beautiful actions I have seen...
But what of it as the Irish players were much better in this match. The most annoying thing with us was the defense, which could not pass a simple ball forward, where 4 of our players were uncovered.

That's what happens when the tactic is so focused on a single type of offensive, ball on the wing in this case. If the winger is isolated, the defs and mids will not know what to do with the ball. Plus, if the winger is on low form/injured your whole game plan is off. Once again, it's just a personal opinion but I don't rate the winger tactic as much is the results should probably command. I've never played it although it's the easiest successful tactic on sokker. Maybe that's why I didn't have any success so far haha.

There is a lot of truth in what you say.... But it doesn't necessarily cover itself with what happens at World Cup tournaments.
Tsolis - that is the user who won the World Cup twice playing one tactic... how can you play one tactic and win all the matches? How could the rivals not be able to figure out the movements of this tactic? This is where the answer is very simple.... this game has little to do with reality :)

Also don't want to sound like I'm complaining about this game as I lost.... Because I lost deservedly :)

The tactic is obviously successful. I just don't like it. Like I said, it's personal. I'd be really out of place to dismiss its success rate, look at the Premiership, it's been won season after season with this tactic. I call it 'lazy' because it is a lazy tactic. Literally playing the same phase for the whole game, ball to the wing, cross, goal. The game engine rewards this tactic way too much though.

I am of the opinion that if something is stupid and works - it is not stupid :p
but it doesn't always work in this game :p

I also like playing the lazy tactic :) It's very effective indeed :)

The lazy tactic is getting to be the new boring and predictable although sometimes not playing 3 defenders in the prem isn't very clever but its all about change ;)

and i am sorry but we should not be losing against a nation with 13 users........ friendly or not.........

Funny you mentioned that.... somehow you didn't have a problem before as you drew twice with Nicaragua in the group with important matches.... Which has 6 users with probably 2-3 of them active. Why don't you take care of your matches instead of looking for problems with me, did you even watch this match or just looking at the result you were happy with the result - because that's the kind of person you are.
