The gap is closing. You need to bear in mind my team is the 2nd newest in the division, so still progress is needed to close the gaps to those at top. But it is getting there, even if it is not next season.

In this case, focus on closing the gap and good luck. Don't worry about other people's parades.

I have a few 31 yr olds who will be a year older next season, so depending how @rsed I can be depends on them being sold or not ;)

You frustrate me, you could be one of the main players/challengers but I can tell you can't be @rsed so many times. I thought about playing the long game too but I feared I'd fall into boredom too. That's why I created a new challenge/project for myself. But you've been there already and you were progressing so well. Then you stopped for some reason. Was it the U21? I told you it's a toxic job :P

it was a few things mate, and i still have my youngsters ;)

Next season may sell and replace a few again :P

I know, I've enjoyed it. I wasn't playing bad (except the game against Polska when I was outplayed tactically), it was just the lack of tactical discipline and experience. When these two factors started improving it looked a lot better. The problem is that the results from other games got me out of the relegation zone and now I'm facing a dilemma if the results carry on this way. Not my results, no matter how optimistical I am, there's no chance of getting points from the last 3 games. Que sara, sara. But one thing is certain: I'm enjoying the challenge, it's something I started to miss during last season. And I see some progress again, which is always nice.
