I am probably missing something obvious but I haven’t been on much, why has Nothis thrown matches?
Who knows. Much like Polska! That one point from the double walkover was enough for Polska to survive.
I reckon Polska's reason must be from losing to my lot twice, even though they fielded a team in both games.

I understand not setting a team by mistake but that always usually means you field the team from the previous game. I even understand an injury messing that up….or messing training up. I don’t really understand throwing games and losing training purposely though….it’s a shame and not really fair on others.
West Ham usually do this in real life much to my frustration. ;)

I very much doubt it was by mistake. He realised he can influence the relegation battle without himself being affected. And that is why he did it. Some people do this sort of things when they have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. He needs the attention and as we've all noticed he gets easily upset by the slightest criticism.

Meant to ask, are you gutted that two of your favourite OAP based sides are being relegated?

They played their OAP's although they were relegated. I don't get it, I really don't. I checked, they're logging in, they're online right now, it's not like they don't come on here and their teams are set by default.

It's quite easy to get stuck in your ways.
None of the promoting teams seem to be relying solely on olds. I do feel Cobra are going to get squashed next season though.

I don’t get the stress tbh, it’s only a game. Anyway…….at Aluminium that’s my 5th straight double ;)
I haven’t counted recently my unbeaten league record, Jensen was my last defeat. I still can’t decide what to do with my team.

I did try and make that point, but didn't get very far, gave up in the end.
Longer you wait, less your team becomes worth for a rebuild.

They both relegated. And I don't see a way back for them. I'm not stressing, I'm just amazed by the wasted time and opportunities. You could say that, inadvertently, I'm on their side.
With 45 avg mark might be bit hard for points in the prem.

I’m getting there jensonella but the issue I have is that most of my trainees are III level. I want to play in II to drive sponsor and match income and less boredom. For that I need better players and no chance of my immediately buying II level players -so essentially I have 1st team to keep me ip and trainees mostly for cup and friendlies.. Yup they do depreciate away but they mostly are very cheap players and as such the depreciation to zero isn’t that bad compared to wages. On top of my keeper I have defenders breaking through into 1st team and striker trainee hopefully season after next. Is the plan for 2024…

I know what you mean. Season after season I tell myself I will start building a squad based on my own juniors. Season after season I'm left disappointed by the quality of the juniors and end up buying instead. No doubt things are going to be the same this season coming. Already brought in two young players (for around 250k) that are much better than anything my academy would give me (and I spend more than 400k a season for it). This juniors thing is probably a waste of money over many seasons. I haven't really kept track of its finances but overall I reckon I've spent twice as much as I got back from the academy. It's hard to tell as a few players are still in my squad and at least two of them would probably balance the figures if I'd sell them right now. I must admit it gave me a much needed boost when I started as one of the juniors went for £1.4m, money much needed back then when I had no stadium and just a typical starter squad. Plus, the transfer market wasn't as Saudi as it is now. So, I'm going to end up contradicting myself at the end of this post: junior academies are good assets to have :)))
For the balance: Income from the academy (this seson): 150k
