I made a mistake typing the title. There is no such word in Polish (Aligaor).
It should be Aligator ;)

Oh, good, I just came back from a short break in Poland and I was gutted I didn't say 'aligaor' when speaking to people over there haha. Lovely country, by the way. Been to three places (Warsaw, Krakow and Gdansk) and loved all them. Not to mention how amazing your public transport is. I reckon every UK citizen should be made to have a short break in Europe before casting their political votes. We are being lied here and led in the wrong direction.

I was in Poland a few years ago. We stayed at a place near to Zakopane (in the south). Our accommodation was a small but lovely wooden chalet. It reminded us of something a hobit would live in, by its style but it was luxurious and seriously impressed us (its called Villa Belweder, check it out). It was a wonderful trip, that we have very fond memories of. We walked to Czarny Staw (Morskie Oko lake) in the Tatra mountains. Absolutely beautiful. Thoroughly recommend!

Spend 4 days, 3 in Poland, 1 in Lithuania. Each day in a different place. Only possible because fast trains and mostly because those fast trains are affordable. Warsaw-Krakow-Warsaw-Kaunas-Warsaw-Gdansk-Warsaw, 2000 km(1250 miles), 100 euros in total. Warsaw-Kaunas return, by plane. The whole travel time: 12 hours, 5 for the each train ride return, 2 for the flights. Got back here to see the same front page a certain newspaper: "EU on brink of collapse".

Sounds like you had an exciting amd action-packed trip. You got through a lot of places in a relatively short period!
We're lucky, we have some mighty impressive places right on our doorstep (Europe). We try to make the most of it when finances allow. We didnt get away much between 2020-22, so making up for lost time! Went to Iceland in Feb and Montenegro recently, both were amazing. Day trips into the countryside and coastline. Some stunning scenery.
I'm completely broke now. I wish I could convert SK money into real money!

Visited 28 European countries so far. I love travelling. But, yeah, it's costly. And, oh, my days, Montenegro's Kotor Bay is a must see.

Alas, I can barely speak English and do a lot of point point ugg ugg. Keep meaning to go to Europe but end up in Caribbean and places like that. Perhaps one day!

Yeah, Kotor was beautiful. The old town is definitely a must see. Loved it there!

Forget Europe or the Carribbean, if you want a life changing trip... Burnley! It'll surely make you reconsider everything you know about the world.
