*edit i looked at my 2 matches in div 2 with beer both i won 1-0, he's defensive is my conclusion

I have no idea how I lost 8-0. I know its got to be tactics as the ratings were close but I just don`t see what I can do.

That's true. Well, not that I'm sad but I am worried. I found myself top of the league with 9 points ahead, when, in fact, all I wanted was to finish 3rd this season and avoid promotion to the Ligue 1 (in a French accent). I am really struggling now.

Don't use the word 'sad'. Oh, wait, actually, use it to rename your tactics ;)

No worries, also against bigger teams , I think you should only have 2 players not doing some sort of defending (ie: your attack mid is fine against other sides)

*looking at it again your keeper is not in great form, one of your strikers in bad form and key player Foden in bad form. whereas my strikers are in top form as is my winger, key mid & keeper.

You could also try a winger and only have 1 striker vs teams with higher ratings

Having said all that Beer had 2 wingers [not pushed too far forward] and 2 strikers vs Thames and only lost 2-1, but it probably should have been more.

A couple of seasons ago, when I played Beer, I came on the forum and praised two of their defenders, home grown, btw, Fisher and Sharpe. In the meantime, Keane and Charlton have grown and they look very good. Konkol is home grown too, even if not from their own academy. Add Burrows and Huckerby to the list and we can conclude Beer is doing an amazing job. This is the sort of performance I envy, in case someone is reading this with his -13p prescription glasses.

Lost again today. That’s 2 losses and a draw since I went top of II and spaffed a load of money on extra players…

Need to check my tactics as team and player ratings alongside shots indicate so should be doing better…
