Thank you, as usual, great advices from the senior users.
This 'top' league is not for everyone. I don't know how you handle the pressure. You must be a bag of nerves every game, no wonder you had to spend £5 mil for a striker, you've only scored 98 goals in 12 games. I suggest spending some more £mil on defenders, you conceded too much this season. Especially when you look at the progress Rock Bottom is making season after season :))) He surely is a tactical genius, his 67+ rating team is thrashing team after team every week. Except when he is being robbed. But I'm sure his plan is working. After all...that 3rd place... Wow!

Given where your team is, I'd suggest II isn't for you either, maybe you should try III?
67 was highest ratings I'd had in quite some time, thanks for noticing.

I just want a little trophy to force me to update my logo… (technically I do need to add a FA Cup bronze). I’d get jumped week in week out in the Prem but would take it for the shits and giggles.
To be honest in my league there are about 9 teams not good enough for the prem but good enough for II and able to take points off each other. My ratings look OK for II but a keeper scoring 94 does help… I expect I will finish 4th to 6th. I’m also at the end of a training cycle with quite a few first team 26yos that won’t get any better.

Who wouldn't be? Even fans of rival teams feel the loss. He didn't just push Liverpool to levels I thought I will never see again in my lifetime, he pushed the whole Premier League. I doubt City would've been so good as they are today if Klopp didn't set the bar so high. Best thing Klopp's done was to leave Man utd and Chelsea into mediocrity level. When he came, they were setting the bar and I doubt United would've been able to ever raise it. They've been struggling to reach it since (aka spending billions).
I just hope that the club will carry on following his way (something like Cruyff and Barcelona) and whoever comes as a manager will be someone who will fit in. Barcelona, at some point, could've won everything with my mum as a manager, they were on autopilot. Things were done by a model and managers had to follow it. Something that Pep will probably do at City too. Something that United didn't do when Ferguson stepped down and now they're paying the price.
By the way, I visited Westfalen when in Dortmund once, a year after Klopp came to LFC. My wife (football clueless) asked why do they have pictures with 'the Liverpool guy'. Should've seen the faces of the staff lol. And then one guy said 'the Liverpool guy is our God'.

8 years 1 CL 1 Prem, your 3rd best manager ever Liverpool fans & ex players are saying, i thought 4th after Paisley Shankly & Kenny.
CL is not CL league since 3 of the teams are not Champions anymore therefore Fagan should go above Klopp putting Klopp in 5th!
I look at premiership titles, Fergie 13 all time greatest & and then you got Pep, I think it's the right time to stand down, in his heart he knows as it stands he's only the 5th best manager Liverpool had, and maybe not doing them justice anymore, it will give him more chance of winning this season, , I don't buy it that it won't galvanised the team more, but of course I hope not as Man United have 20 titles. how nice to throw away 250k a week until June 2026
If he does not win the premiership or CL this season, he won't be top 3 or 4 all time Liverpool manager
never mind though, Ten Haag worst Man United manager ever must cheer you up
250k a week Martial is on, all those managers and nobody sold him, they gave him bigger contracts for nothing
250k a week Klopp or Saka, or Martial & Mount, Liverpool & Arsenal win
Mount 65 million for a player in last year of contract in worst form of his life for an entire season, on bench, bought injured, put on 250k a week, dodgy? it would be flagged on here ;)
I am surprised United have been able to sell tickets

Football has changed and it seems to be just the start of some even more big changes. It cannot be judged by historical performances anymore as it's a different animal. Clubs have to find an identity and long term projects otherwise will collapse. Klopp has done it for Liverpool, Pep for City. Clubs like Brighton, Brentford and a few others seem to have it implemented too. My praise for Klopp was not on trophies, it's on how he coagulated the club into a proper organisation. He did this at Dortmund when Dortmund was drifting. And since then, Dortmund has been stable and quite successful considering they're against a giant. The problem with clubs like United and Chelsea is they fail to adapt. I hear the same thing over and over again from my mates supporting United or Chelsea, the trophies, the trebles, the money they spend blah blah blah. When, in fact, both clubs are badly run and nowhere near what's expected from them. Time runs a lot faster in football than ever and I'm afraid that both have a lot to catch up with other clubs in England and Europe. I could add Barcelona to the list, they also seemed to have lost their identity lately.
Klopp eliminated the mismanagement of players, their wages and contracts. If I have something against him, it'd be that he wasn't as ruthless as Ferguson and he got attached to some players. He made that squad his family. On the other hand, that's what Liverpool is all about and that's why we love him here. Just like City did in their community, Klopp has spent money on more than just the club. Anfield area has changed dramatically in better since his arrival, with the club investing in the community as well. Trophies don't always make you a hero.

Klopp has been a fantastic manager for Liverpool, he will be a huge loss! Ok can have Moyes at the end of the season if you like? ;)
