True, you'd have to switch him with your junior coach for a week or 2. He's worth it though if you're short of money.

Certainly a perfect coach for a mid table II side without the sponsorship of the higher divisions.

4-0 cup exit.

Overall a solid cup run to the 3rd round, 1 round further than normal. I have some good players in my reserves, but certainly not all of them (and especially not the player playing as a winger).

5-1 win tonight but it wasn’t a great performance.

Why do you always assume I'm angry? And why would I be angry on a user that gets no fun out this game? We all talk about juniors, training, tactics and all the other things that this game brings with it. Your friend just comes on once every three months and dries the market of some old players to replace those who died in the meantime. Goes up and then goes down. That's all. Oh, wait, he makes a friend abroad that likes to come on here and claim that's the way to eternal glory.

They might as well finish above me, Al. At some point I will be playing more reserves and my average will go down. Let's just hope his team doesn't play away in Switzerland by then.

Today, I won 4-1, and Widzew advances to the next round of the English Cup:)

I worried about today's game, my high line against Timisoara's attacking trio made me think it's going to be a lot more difficult than it was. In all fairness, they scored half of their chances. Wish I set some substtitutions for the second half but I didn't. Long injury on one of first 11 players too. 40 something shots on goal, only 11 converted.

Only 5 Premiership clubs left in the cup out of 16. Division 1 getting stronger or Prem clubs not caring?

Playoffs might be interesting at the end of this season. I'd say anyone in the bottom half of the Prem is at risk.

Those are average ratings.

Mostly due to how off on one you was against Fenland who are young in comparison!

I play this game because I like football first of all and just like most of you I can't let go of it. I started with the goal of going up in leagues and all that. I think I did pretty well. But what really keeps me going is to try tactics, outplay other users' tactics and seeing players developing.
As I stated before, we could all do it in the same way and bring in cheap old players that would win us the games. But it would limit the game to setting the line-up and... thats it, really. Maybe once every 6 months buy some other players. Until there are no more players because nobody trains any young players.
Hence, I dislike this sort of strategy. I'm not angry with them, I pitty them. They're missing on the best bit that this game offers.
