Asunto: Season 66

2024-04-06 21:08:02
I play this game because I like football first of all and just like most of you I can't let go of it. I started with the goal of going up in leagues and all that. I think I did pretty well. But what really keeps me going is to try tactics, outplay other users' tactics and seeing players developing.
As I stated before, we could all do it in the same way and bring in cheap old players that would win us the games. But it would limit the game to setting the line-up and... thats it, really. Maybe once every 6 months buy some other players. Until there are no more players because nobody trains any young players.
Hence, I dislike this sort of strategy. I'm not angry with them, I pitty them. They're missing on the best bit that this game offers.

I feel the same. I don't like that there's a consensus of "This is how the game has to be played" because that's hugely boring. I'd rather play it as a puzzle, try to break established systems.
The tactics board is the primary variable in this game. You can be a spreadsheet warrior, you can plot every financial aspect, use every app under the sun, but if you're not good at tactics, you are screwed. I do wish it was a little easier to use though. 35 ball positions multiplied by 10 players is 350 positions for each formation. That's a lot of work.

I like to have always full training and winning My league, but I have to sacrfice cup for the training.... but Iike to play on all aspects aswell

Once again, it's my opinion. It's my way of looking at, understanding and playing this game. I had a few users having a go at me for this opinion. Without any real arguments, and nowhere near convincing. All the examples they give me are of teams that eventually ended up in a cul-de-sac. Because, whatever logic you apply, there is no other way for old players teams. And once again, whatever success they achieve is not what makes me enjoy this game. Not that I don't like to win, I do. And I do it quite a lot. But the game is more than just winning in those 15 minutes the game is played.

You don’t understand that you can have BOTH - training great youngsters for money/future AND having good 32+ players to keep getting results. That’s how the team improves in fastest way.

While you have neither good players nor good youngsters. You train totally average cheap players who aren’t even in the best training age and you spend your money on totally weak/average 25-28yo players. It just doesn’t make any sense, hence why you don’t improve.

Today's matches: 7 April 2024, 21:19 (+ 300 min)

Doesn't matter, because unlike Universitatea and Fenland, I have neither good players, nor good youngsters. There's no point watching the game.

I'm not sure whether to pay any attention to that. It always says there's a delay, there never is.

Let's hope so. It's down to 255 minutes now.

Lucky i did not watch the game, i saw the score line 3-2 to man utd and went to bed happy we won!

I watched todays game, I've been saying to my friends about Mainoo before this season started, what a goal! So we have Garnacho 20yo Mainoo 19yo and lacey just turned 17 and is touted as the Messi of Manchester, Hojlund also 21, this really could be a premiership winning side in the making in about 3 seasons.
