Bowen is very underrated imo and a lot of non-West Ham fans felt he was mot for England in the last game.

He is indeed. Plus, he's the kind of player that gives 100%. I think he is similar to Jota, except that Bowen stays fit. "You've got" some players that I find easy to admire in the squad: Bowen, Antonio, Soucek, Ward-Prowse to name a few.

I went to 2 man city games when they were in the lower leagues at Maine road..... lost both times but what an atmosphere and great stadium.... also Moss side was rough as f@ck!!! :P

It'd be a shock for you going to a city home game now. I'm talking about the atmosphere haha. Even Anfield became quieter. But like I said, that's another conversation. Price of tickets and who can afford to buy them. Back then everyone was there for their teams and surely the atmosphere was generated by their passion. I doubt anyone was there to improve their Instagram.

We lack speed at CB, we need a true STR who can play the same as Antonio but will score goals and isn't injured. We are strong in attacking areas other than striker. We have a good LB and RB is so so imo. We could do with another good CM however. Although we did win the U18 FA Cup and the same bunch are winning the 1st yr of u23 league too so there are some very talented youths on the way through, one of the best Marshall went on loan to West Brom but sadly hasn't kicked a ball since going there.....he should have gone to a league 1 or 2 club imo first.

I like the way Klopp has used his younger players......Moyes is not good at that, Rice was already established by the time he came back for his 2nd stint.

Too many managers are afraid to bring in young players. The result is too important for them. Premier League is well too competitive for young players. Klopp had too, too many inuries at the time but yeah, he does like to see young players taking responsibility. Pep too. I know Van Gaal was laughed at when he was at United but, in my opinion he would've built a better team without spending so much. He was the one who introduced Rashford to us. And I know he had plans to make United some sort of home grown Ajax team. Brighton does it very well.
They don't hesitate for a second in Germany and France, they throw young players on the pitch every week. The pressure is not as high as in PL but for their national teams is great.

I noticed a young guy playing for AV, Rodgers (I think), he looks really good.

Hes coming into his game... emery told him he was a championship player but expected more from him... he has pushed himself since and what a player he will be.. anyone who can keep Jacob ramsey out of the squad is a player ;)

Paid to watch the car? Haha
I remember when I used to park my car in Anfield on a street with empty boarded houses and always praying I'd still find it when I come back.

Oh, yeah, Ramsey disappeared....
This is the problem with young players like Mainoo. In my opinion Saka stagnated too. Rashford looks like a player towards the end of his career. There's something in Premier League that ruins this young players. Bellingham was very wise to go to Dortmund.

I think the pressure is so high (and the wages) that it takes away that fun factor they have when they first start playing at senior level.

Our issue is the youth teams play better aggressive football than the first teams low block…..that probably makes it harder.
2024-04-08 22:25:04
They bought him in January from Middlesbrough…..Roger’s that is.

Personally I think Rashford has always been a good player but not as good as people think, certainly no replacement at PSG for Mbappe.

Saka is still playing very well imo and Arsenal have a great team this season. I hope Bellingham continues to thrive at Madrid. I also hope Mainoo is not rushed too much as I think he looks great but could easily be put under too much pressure….although if he has the same character as Rice he will be fine.

Talking about young players. I watched Brazil's last two friendlies. Vs England and Spain. What do you guys think of Endrick? I didn't think he is as good as youtubers describe him to be.
