Asunto: Season 66

BREAKING: Manchester City has AGREED personal terms with Lucas Paquetá on a long-term contract. (Twitter)

Could be just smoke.

Seems unlikely at this stage of the season.

I don’t think we saw enough to really make a judgement on Endrick, do you? I haven’t seen the YouTube videos either tbh, a highlights reel of players is always difficult to judge as it’s usually their best bits only.

What account in twitter? He probably will go there but there is still an investigation into the getting thing, I can’t see it happening until he is cleared.

Purely Football.

@camus
I thought so too. But when's smoke, might be a fire too. I just hope WHU will get good money for him. He would fit in at City, they've got some dead wood. I don't think Grealish and Doku are pleasing Pep too much. And I think B.Silva will leave this summer.

About Endrick. I watched him for about 100 minutes of football. Fair enough, tough opposition, both England and Spain. And he scored in both. But I'm not going by this, I hate it when pundits give the MOTM to the player that scored just because he scored. He gets easily rattled, the Spanish players got him nearly sent off just by teasing him. But I remember Vinicius Jr was the same when he joined Real. He couldn't keep the ball too many times and his passing was atrocious. As for the tricks, he tried a few but without a real purpose or effect. If I was a scouter, I don't think I would recommend him for £62mil.

At City Pacqueta would be do good. I think Doku started the season brilliantly but he seems to have tailed off a bit? Grealish hasn’t produced like he did last season, but is that due to injuries? Silva is a brilliant player, he would be a big loss.

I will be more interested to see how Mbappe does at Madrid than Kendrick next season. ;)

Endrick has always been the best for his age in the world every season, what he has done already is ahead of anyone that ever played football, ahead of Messi ahead of Ronaldo there is np doubting his talent it is immense, His destiny is the best player in the world.

So he has exceeded what Jude Bellingham did by his age? I will be honest I hadn't even heard of him before the England game.

Of course !!

With five goals in four matches, including one against Argentina in the final, Endrick finished as the top scorer and was named best player of the tournament, as Brazil won their first Montaigu Tournament title since 1984.

Palmeiras ended the campaign with eight wins and two draws in their final 11 games. Top scorer in that run was 17-year-old striker Endrick, who came of age in the most important game of the season.

At the start of November, Palmeiras found themselves 3-0 down away to Botafogo. They won 4-3, with Endrick scoring two fine goals. Until that point there were still doubts about the youngster's capacity to shine at the highest level. Had he been over hyped? The answer he gave that night was an emphatic "no". The stocky left-footer showed all the skills and the strength of character to take charge of proceedings. In retrospect this was the moment when Palmeiras started to win the title.

Endrick maintained his form all the way to the finish line. It was his goal that gave Palmeiras a last-day 1-1 draw away to Cruzeiro, ensuring they finished two points clear of a Luis Suárez-inspired Grêmio.

He became the youngest male player to secure a senior call-up since Ronaldo in 1994.[36] On his debut against Colombia, Endrick became the fourth all-time youngest player, and youngest in 57 years, to make his debut for Brazil

Both his International goals have come in away games in England and Spain, both this year, so he's 2 for 2, in 24

He's drawn comparisons to Pele, Ronaldo Nazario and Romario.

I think he's his own player and could be better than them

Ok, Bryan. But that's not what I've seen. And like wdp said, on youtube it's easy to make a player look good. Ive 'never seen him either until the England's game but I heard/read about him. And from what I've seen I can tell you that those comparisons with Ronaldo9 and Romario are unfounded. As for comparing him with Pele... Please! Pele at his age won a World Cup for Brazil.

I haven't been impressed by him at all but he seems to have a habit of being in the right place at the right time, just like that fraud Lewandowski.

Ronaldo was the best 9 I have seen, it's a bit premature to say that maybe? I hope he is good, it's sad seeing Brazil being a poor team compared to the past.

Never underestimate right place at the right time, that its actually a gift for great strikers. ;)
