I lost 4-4 to a +80 average rating again…….played against a deep line defence too, such a horrible tactic to play. Oh and a keeper injury early on probably hurt me unfortunately.

Thanks, I just can’t break the 80’s in ratings….the best teams in this hit 80+ and it certainly makes a difference. My players are good and well rounded so I don’t really understand what else I can do, they must have better players and there’s little I can do about it.

Edit: I played against a team of all 30 yr olds or older. Maybe that’s how I crack the 80 rating? ;)

You were unlucky, like I said before. The draw was harsh on you. Leccester and Orly are probably going to play the final. If they don't match against each other in the next round. In my opinion, against any other team you would've won.

I agree, as I said that low defence is so hard to get past. It stopped my winger doing anything tbh.

I watched the game. To me, it seemed that the main problem was that your strikers were not on the same line with their defenders. They received the ball and had to run towards the defenders and ended up disposessed. I don't know if it makes sense what I'm trying to say. But if they were on the same line as the defenders, they would've got the ball and one move would've been enough to get past and shoot. Or even if the def got the ball, the striker would've tackled and got the ball and shoot. Plus, the winger would've had a target to pass the ball earlier.
It's not criticism, by the way, I must stress before the lamp gets all shaking and genies come out of it. It's just a conclusion. My conclusion, I should say.

If the secret is aged 30 players, then you need to wait 2 more seasons.

I'm still convinced once all the old training regime players are gone, it will be close to impossible to have an 80+ rated team. So these teams of 30 now will get worse, maybe your opportunity is 2 seasons away.
