I'm still convinced once all the old training regime players are gone, it will be close to impossible to have an 80+ rated team. So these teams of 30 now will get worse, maybe your opportunity is 2 seasons away.

I agree and thats what I mean by their low defence, they have a ridiculously low defensive line which means my strikers get the ball and then run towards them and are easy to tackle.

I agree, my team is probably 2 seasons from its real peak, after that my team will be shot to pieces though lmao

@jensenella I will have to formulate a tactic that is specific to that low defensive tactic. As for the draw I got unlucky imo, I am seeded fairly high now but the draw gave me a team with way over 80 in rating when the match below there were 2 x low 70's still.

The hardest game you've had this season is against my lot, and that was with 12 shots winning 4-0. So I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting another couple of goes with your current side.

The game like real life goes in cycles, this is my cycle. I am frustrated that I didn't get further than last season. I have a few nice trainers but I am low in quality compared to the previous set that have given me this success.

I had a nightmare game myself tonight. 17 shots (all of them on one on one with the GK), 1 goal only. Strikers at 17 and 16 and 14 level. Against a GK that is in form 2. My defenders just passing the ball to the opposition players.
Sometimes this game tells you that there is no point, just leave, find another hobby.

There's a chance I might be weaker in the cup this season anyway......I think if a team wins the double then the runners up in both should get Champions Cup anyway tbh.
