After the final score, I have to ask if we really played a football match :) A score of 9-3 sounds more like hockey to me :)

My team played well, I was a bit worried about our game as you’ve done so well to date. Your team was actually very clinical scoring 3 of 5 chances. ;)

I am in a strong position now for the league which is better than I thought I’d be at this stage……whatever happens you have had a fantastic season so far.

WDP, since you won the league match, now give me the FA Cup :)

Yes I am in the same boat, poor form, on the strikers, injuries and red cards. Hope we snap out of it.

15 consecutive wins this season. Probably the best run I've had so far. I'm sure it will end on Friday, FA Cup game against BR. I will do my best to get the 16th but there's too much individual value in his team for me to overcome tactically. Plus, his tactics are very good.

Can't beat 16 wins but I have 11/11 in ll.2. Problem is, I am not making any money so promotion would be a seriously bad idea

I know Div 2 is not the place to make money. But it allows you to do other things you wouldn't be able to do in Premier. Like, get rid of high wage players, give minutes to all the players and try new tactics. While you still win games and keep the fans happy.
Since I chose to spend time in Div 2 I made it to £6,112,804 (today's budget), a record for me, and my academy has had 3 consecutive years of making profit, going for the 4th.

You should make money on training/transfers of trained players. You don't have to make money on weekly finances, having a +/- 0 balance is fine as long as you train 10 decent youths that will bring you good money.

I'm not even talking to you, what's your problem this time? Looking for attention much?

So what you are saying is that you should be able to make a profit in the transfer market? I am still bemused at how people make so much money, and with a 6-1-3 record in ll.1 - which admittedly looks a lot tougher than 2347’s league ll.2 - l don’t have a great load of room for manoeuvre when it comes to selection.

Think less of results, more of training, then bigger results follow eventually

Train from age 16-18 to age 21-22 is the Best profit. Training on older players will only give you status quo in money, but can bring some results..

So buying a 23 yo to train, will 95% the time not bring profit
