A lot of great coaches being sacked for no good reason. Firstly retirements won't happening for at least 17-18 weeks, and secondly, there's no guarantee that the coaches being sacked would retire anyway. People are being quite stupid and I'm all for it, because now I can grab some cheap Magicals ;)

My oldest is Mr. Gerrard, 74. The others are 66, 63,61 and 42.
No need to panic, I'm sure Rangers or Villa will be calling soon.

The (real) Premier League is never going to be a serious league with these refs/VAR. Just finished watching Bournemouth v Newcastle, a result decided by the refs and their weird way of seeing the game. Two weeks in and already games ruined by the VAR. There's no hope.

As a Newcastle supporter, you can't let that goal go. If he hasn't got his arm draped over the defender he's nowhere near it.

I actually think VAR is a good thing. The time waste of a ref going to a monitor is a bit of pointless theatre they should do what they do in rugby rather than think they are playing American football.

I have seen so many bad decisions ruin football games.

I like the idea, I don't like the implementation. I don't understand why it takes so long when you've seen how quickly it operates during the World Cup and Euros.

It’s when you are at matches. Totally takes away the excitement of scoring goals and also you have not a scoobie at what’s going on and why a goal was disallowed

I like the general idea of VAR but I don't really like the way it was implemented and how it works in England.

First of all it takes too long, much longer than in different leagues. Secondly the decision are NOT consistent - one week same situation will be a penalty, another week with different referee staff it won't. Thirdly, the refs even with VAR often make TERRIBLE decisions and then the issue an apology... happened almost every week last season. Now imagine how clueless they would be without VAR and replays.

During Everton - Brighton there was even a ridiculous situation where the ref was sent to VAR, then looked at a picture of... Premier League logo and made the decision. And after the game officials claimed that he was the footage, which he clearly didn't.

Yes it sounds crazy, but in 3rd division.... wdp's 151 so far in top flight is way wayyyyy crazier

Thanks, maybe one more season but I really do have to make some changes soon. I just haven't had time to get some new players in, I keep missing deadlines. I have some money though.

I doubt that any other English team scored more than 400 goals in one season, no matter what division. Maybe I should've posted this in the records thread.
